Colby's P.O.V 

"I'm really happy about this," I said looking at the tent that mainly I and Y/N were able to put together I looked over at her smiling at her. "Like look at this." This time I basically showed it off like a trophy waving my arms in the direction of the tent. My attention quickly looked over at Sam who had said "Wait wait wait." It seemed like everyone else was looking behind me in the direction of the noise that same had heard "That was another growl." quickly followed by Jake who said, "I just yawned." Which made me relived all the fear quickly leaving my body and it felt like I could breathe. "No, it wasn't a yawning sound it was like grrr." Sam continued saying before I felt all the fear come back to me again knowing I had heard the same thing "It sounded like over there?" I asked sam and mimicked the noise he had just done, I looked over at Y/N. I walked over to her. We all did. Making sure she was alright. I paid her special attention though I knew just how much it took for her to say yes to coming with us. "Hey remember you have me," I told her I couldn't help but let my arm run around her waist to comfort her. All she could do was give me a smile which I took as a good sign. She never had to say too much with me or anything at all. She knew what to do to make sure I knew she was alright. "There are no bears in California right?" was all I heard Sam say. Before we heard a growling again though this was different we knew it was obviously an ATV or a dirt bike of some sort. We all looked in the direction of the noise as if trying to see if we'd see anyone or if it would get closer.

"Is that a motorcycle or a chainsaw?" Corey asked instantly freaking us all out. We didn't even think about that fact before he mentions it. "Ooh, what a chainsaw?" Sam instantly said after he said that. None of us really said anything we all just listened to the sound a little longer.  "Ok yeah, that's a motorcycle." We all decided and started to just ignore the noise. Today of all days it felt like the camera was always on. Not that I wasn't enjoying it I was. I loved filming these types of videos with the guys but I know Y/N wasn't used to being on camera much. I could see that she was trying to be in a couple of the videos but i knew she wasn't comfortable with it. I tried my best to be with her a few times that the cameras were off or at least just when I wasn't in the shot. I offered to record a little bit this time. Spending the time i could with Y/N. Making sure she was alright, making her laugh as much as I could to make her feel better about this whole trip. 

"Did you catch that?" Sam asked me as I held the camera which thankfully I did I and Y/N were already hearing some strange sounds a minute or two before the guys really noticed them. I shook my head at him instead of responding in case another noise came along. We all listened out for anything. I heard another noise and i think everyone else did too. "Yo, we aren't alone here." I told sam I looked over at Y/N. She was still looking around this time not where the noise was coming from but ll around after hearing what I said. I didn't miss the fact that she was held onto me. I couldn't help but smile at this. 

We started walking down a path, chatting about where Jennifer's cabin could be in comparison to where we were. After a little I turned off the camera. We all just kept talking about it and what the plan was for the night. We could all hear the noises of the motorcycles getting closer too close. Only a couple of seconds passed by and it sounded like they were in the same woods as us. I felt Y/N get behind me. We all looked behind us at the dirt path that we decided not to walk down only to see a person pass on a dirt bike. It all just watched them before jack asked me "Was that a duck?" seconds before another person passed on their bike. I hadn't even noticed I was holding onto Y/N's hand till I looked over at her beside me. I couldn't help but smile even though I was freaking out. I couldn't be sure what was going to be out there while we stayed here. 

I was sure of this though I wasn't going to let anything hurt her.
