"Are you okay?" His voice was low, almost a grumble.
"Yeah. Are you?" Eijiro returned the question with surprise.
"Why are you so quiet then?" Katsuki scowled.
"Why are you?"
"S'nothing." Katsuki mumbled. "Just a long fucking day. Can you just talk? Tell me about your day or something."
"Oh, okay, sure. Well we went to a movie, and they took me out to lunch and took me grocery shopping. It was nice."
"Did you tell them about the envelope with the sex of the pup?"
"I honestly forgot all about it. I know what I said, but I think I want it to be a surprise. I think the thought of opening it gives me more anxiety than anything else, and I'm okay just referring to it as an it for now." Eijiro shrugged. Katsuki nodded, and he seemed to lose himself in thought. "Listen I know we don't really ever talk about you, but something is really off tonight, so what's going on?" Katsuki looked at him and opened his mouth to answer, but Eijiro interrupted. "And don't give me the 'it's nothing' line. If I can't use it, you can't either."
"Tch." Katsuki rolled his eyes, but Eijiro could see the smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Just some work shit came up, and meeting your moms was a lot. I'm fine though."
"Sorry. I forgot they were coming. I know they're a lot and we didn't really discuss if we were going to do introductions to people, and I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable or making you do something you didn't want to do."
"Calm down. It's not that big a deal." Katsuki stated, swirling his drink before downing it. "What we tell people is what you're comfortable with. Remember all I wanted was someone to take to dinner, and spoil, if you are comfortable telling people about our relationship, then that's fine. I just know you're still adjusting to things. I don't want people, your moms especially, to think that this is some lovey dovey relationship and have expectations though, so be careful how you do it."
"Ri-Right." Eijiro stumbled, trying desperately to hide the sinking in his heart at the reinforcement of the dynamic of their relationship. He knew it was unrealistic to be fantasizing a normal relationship with the other man, but his mind just seemed to always drift there.
After that, things seemed to normalize as the night progressed. Katsuki slowly teased him more, the conversation drifting to more light hearted topics, which movie did they see, why Crimson Riot is his favorite hero instead of All-Might, silly banter about who would win in a fight. By the time they made it back to Katsuki's apartment, it was like the day had melted away and it was just them.
It didn't take long for them to end up in the bedroom, Eijiro's hands in Katsuki's hair, being walked backwards towards the bed, lips interlocking in a messy dance of desire. Katsuki's hand wandered under his t-shirt, groping blindly at flesh that sang in pleasure at every touch.
"Want to feel you." Eijiro mumbled against Katsuki's lips.
"Mmm? Gonna need more than that, Red. Tell me exactly what you want." Katsuki encouraged, pulling away from his lips and moving his attention to his neck. Eijrio moaned before he could put the words together.
"I want to feel you against me, skin to skin." He gasped as Katsuki licked a trail up to his ear, leaving a cool wet trail in his wake.
"I think we can make that happen." Katsuki grinned. "Do you want me to undress you, or do you want to do it yourself?"
"Y-you." Eijiro stumbled as Katsuki stared at him intently, looking ready to devour him.
"Good answer. Arms up." Katsuki praised, before stripping him of his t-shirt, the shirt worn over it discarded long ago. Katsuki pressed kisses down his torso as crouched down in front of him. "Now for these pesky pants, hmm?" He smirked up at Eijiro, as he unbuttoned the jeans. His eyes stayed focused on the omega's face as he slid the stiff fabric down his legs.
