Forever Mine

Part 13

Shinso and Midoriya enter the ring and the fight starts. After a few minutes, Midoriya freezes then starts walking to the edge of the ring. Right before he steps out of the ring Midoriya stops and knocks Shinso out of the ring instead.

Next Shoto fights Sero and wins in a second flat after sending a huge wall of ice at Sero freezing every part of him except for his face.

After Shoto's fight, it's my turn. I'm going up against a girl from 1B. As soon as the fight starts she sends several vines at me, all of which I dodge. I fly at her push her out of the ring.

Iida fights a girl from the Support course, Mei Hatsume. She just uses the fight to advertise her inventions and when she's done she steps out of the ring.

Aoyama and Mina fight next ending with Aoyama getting a stomache and a punch to the face.

Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu's fight is rather quick. Yaoyorozu makes a shield which Tokoyami has Dark Shadow hit over and over again until Yaoyorozu is pushed out of the ring.

Kirishima fights a boy from 1B named Tetsutetsu who has a similar quirk to him. The fight ends up being a draw in the end.

Bakugou's fight against Ochako is epic. Ochako keeps dodging Bakguou's attacks and floats the pieces of rubble he breaks off. Ochako stores up the pieces of cement for a final attack which Bakugou counter attacks with a huge explosion. Even though Ochako put up a great fight she ends up passing out from over usage of her quirk.

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu's tie-breaking match is an arm wrestle. It's pretty boring and lasts a while, but in the end, Kirishima ends up winning.

The next round of matches is Shoto vs Midoriya, me vs Iida, Tokoyami vs Mina, and Kirishima vs Bakugou. There's a five-minute break before the next round starts.

Shoto's fight with Midoriya lasts a while. In the end, Shoto wins because Midoriya convinced him to use his left side. I don't even think Midoriya was trying to win. I think he was pushing Shoto just enough so he had to use his left side.

My fight with Iida is rather quick. Iida runs at me as soon as the match starts. I dodge and send a blast of lightning at him from behind which knocks him out of the ring.

Tokoyami's fight against Mina is also rather quick. Tokoyami sends Dark Shadow towards Mina and she tries to counter with a stream of acid. Dark Shadow easily dodges her attack and knocks her out of the ring in one hit.

Bakugou and Kirishima's fight takes a little longer. It's mainly just Bakugou sending an explosion towards Kirishima then Kirishima punching Bakugou and vise versa. At the end of the fight, Kirishima charges at Bakguou and punches him multiple times. Bakugou retaliates with several explosions and Kirishima finally has to stop using his quirk and therefore loses the match.

I'm scared for the next fight which is me against Shoto. I don't want to fight him and the match could go either way. This time we are given a ten minute break to come up with a battle plan. My plan mainly consists of dodging and blasting things with lightning.

All of the other matches have gone by like a snap of the finger,  but this is when time comes rushing back to me. I realize how much is resting on this fight and that I'm going to have to fight my best friend.

As soon as the match starts Shoto sends a blast of ice at me. I fly into the air dodging the attack and counter with a blast of lightning. I send several blasts of lightning and air at Shoto trying to knock him out of the ring, all of which fail. Shoto sends a few towers of ice at me one of which badly cuts my right wing forcing me to land. Shoto makes a small wall of ice coming my direction. I barely manage to dodge the attack. I retaliate and blast him with lightning, which he gets slighty grazed by. Shoto shoots another wall of ice at me which I stop with a blast of lightning. Shoto sends several walls of ice at me trapping me in a corner of the ring. I break them with another blast of lightning. As soon as the walls off ice around me come down Shoto shoots a ball of fire at me. I didn't realize how close to edge I'd gotten and got knocked out of the ring by Shoto's fire. I land in a weird poistion with my leg bent under my torso. I'm knocked unconscious from shear pain as Shoto carries me to Recovery Girl's office. 

I wake up in Recovery Girl's office with Recovery Girl standing above me.

"Your fully healed. You can go upstairs to watch the rest of the finale. Make sure to take it easy on your leg and wings though," Recover Girl says.

"Oh, ok," I respond getting up and putting on my jacket that was sitting on a chair before leaving the room and going upstairs to the observation room.

I make it up there just in time. I missed the beggining of the match, but that's the least important part. I see Bakugou use his explosions to become airborne. Shoto lifts up his left hand, but nothing happens no attack to counter Bakugou's. Bakugou comes charging down towards Shoto and lets off a huge explosion. Shoto goes flying way out of bounds and before I know it my feet are moving and I'm running towards the tunnel to the arena. I run towards Shoto and see Bakugou holding him by his shirt and aimed to throw another explosion at him. Shoto is unconscious as Bakugou yells at him. Seeing this just makes me run faster. I blast Bakugou with air making him let go of Shoto and sending him flying backwards.

"Leave him alone Bakugou," I shout angrily stopping at Shoto's unconcsious body laying on a bed of ice. "He needs to go to Recover Girl, not be harrassed by you." I say biterly as I drape Shoto's arm around my neck and start walking back towards Recovery Girl's office.

I stay with Shoto until he wakes up which is just in time for the podium. We walk down to the room together. The podium consits of three round colmuns connected at the base. Each colomun is a different height. The one to the far left with a red three on it is the shortest. The one in the middle has a red one on it and is the tallest. The one to the far right has a red two on it and is only slightly taller than the one to the far left. Bakugou is already on the one in the middle. He's strapped to a cement block behind him and has cuffs on that surrond his hand and forearm. A muzzle is on his head. Shoto climbs onto the number two platform. I stand next to Tokoyami on the number three platform. The ceiling opens up into the arena and the podium rises, showing the winners of the sports festival. All Might gives us our medals. All Might comes over to me and Tokoyami first.

"Thank you, sir," I say bowing my head as All Might puts a bronze medal around my neck.

He then walks over to Shoto and gives him the silver medal. Last he goes to Bakugou. All Might carefully takes of his muzzel and tries to put the gold medal around Bakugou's neck, but Bakugou is being difficult and won't stop moving so in the end All Might just puts the medal in Bakugou's mouth.
