"Love, I am so sorry. I might not be able to visit you tonight. Shontelle is sick at wala siyang kasama sa house nila right now. Her mom called me to bring her medicines"

I sighed, as always, it has been a week pero walang nag bago, parati silang magkasama ni Shontelle, we made plans for tonight pero hindi nanaman siya makaka punta

"Edi dalhin mo sa kanya at balik ka agad", I reasoned out

I heard him sighing, "Love please, she is sick and walang mag aalaga sa kanya. Her mom also asked me a favor, nakakahiya naman kay tita hindi ba", I closed my eyes trying to calm myself down

"Tadahiro, we've been planning this date for a week now, and you're just going to bail me? For your best friend?" I raised my eyebrow

"Celestine pwede ba? Be reasonable naman, she's my best friend"

"And I'm your girlfriend!"

He held my hand to calm me down, apparently, I can't calm down, selos na selos na ako at nagiging bulag ang boyfriend ko sa mga pakulo ng girl best friend niya, he's trusting her too much

"Can you not be jealous of my best friend, Celestine Eliana?"

I scoffed, "Kung ayaw mo ng selosang jowa, edi mag jowa ka nang hindi ka mahal"

I was eating a bag of chips while holding my phone, kanina pa ako nag aalala, he's not replying to any of my messages

From: Love

    I'm at Shontelle's house na, sorry I wasn't able to reply early. I was driving kasi

To: Love

   Video call tayo mamaya

Praning kung praning, hindi naman ako ma papraning kung hindi ko nahahalata ang mga motibo ng girl best friend niya

   You're being dramatic

Sumakit ang dibdib ko sa nabasa ko, dramatic? How can he say that? Hindi niya ba ako naiintindihan? Yes, mas nauna ang best friend niya kesa sakin, pero can't he believe me? He knows me, I'm not like this, I was never jealous of any of his female friends before, pero itong girl best friend niya lang talaga ang sumusobra

I tossed and turned pero I can't bring myself to sleep, it has been 2 hours since he last called, I did not bother texting him pero sana naman he took the initiative to update me, I heard my phone vibrating kaya agad akong napabangon, hoping it to be Tadahiro but my shoulder dropped when I saw Alora calling me

"Oh?", sagot ko

"Yawa ka! Kanina pa ako tawag ng tawag", bungad niya sa akin

"Bakit? Ano yun?"

"Check my message bilis!"

Sinunod ko naman ang sinabi niya and I checked her message, she sent me a picture. Ramdam ko ang pag kurot ng puso ko sa nakita ko, it was Tadahiro, sleeping beside Shontelle. Shontelle posted it on her IG story, she was laying on top of his chest

I checked Shontelle's IG account and it was there, she posted a lot of pictures of him and Tadahiro, there was this one picture where she was on the bed and Tadahiro was sitting on the chair beside her, ayos ah, parang mag jowa

I was not able to sleep well, shuta sino ba naman makaka tulog ng maayos diba. Makikita mo ang boyfriend mo may katabi matulog. They slept together, fuck, I felt my tears running down from my eyes

From: Love

   Hey, love. I bought mcdo, I'm omw. I'll see you in a bit. I love you

I did not bother to reply, I was right all along, pero he didn't believe me, pumunta parin siya sa bahay ng best friend niya at sa iisang kama pa talaga sila natulog

I heard my door opening up, I saw him entering and he showed me the paper bag he's holding, I remained quiet, nilapag niya ang paper bag and he went near me, umupo siya sa kama at lumapit sakin, he tried to kiss my cheek pero umilag ako

"What's wrong?", he asked

I showed him my phone, "You slept together?", I heard my voice cracked

"Baby no. Teka let me explain", I pushed him away gently

"N-no"

"Celestine"

"I told you didn't I? I warned you, pero you never believed me", I looked at him

"What? No! Hindi kami magkatabi matulog, yes, I slept inside her room pero nap lang yun, I took a quick nap while she was finishing our project, then I woke up at lumipat ako sa guest room nila"

I laughed, "So explain the damn picture, Tadahiro"

"I don't know. Wala akong alam tungkol dyan", he honestly said

"Hanggang ngayon ba Tadahiro? Ipagtatanggol mo pa din yang best friend mo? Bulag ka ba? Nag bubulag bulagan? O baka gusto mo din siya kaya hinahayaan mo?!", I shouted

"What? No! What the hell are you talking about, Celestine? Ilugar mo muna ang pagiging selosa mo, hindi ka naman ganito dati ah?"

"Oo, kasi they were not insinuating something, unlike your beloved girl best friend", I was trying so hard not to cry, he would still defend her, kahit kitang kita na niya mismo ang picture

"You know what? You're just tired. Pahinga ka muna, let's just talk pag okay ka na", he stood up at kinuha niya ang paper bag ng mcdo, "Shontelle even told me to bring you mcdo since she felt guilty for being sick"

Kinuha ko ang unan ko at tinapon iyon sa kanya, "Tangina! Puro ka nalang Shontelle! Shontelle! Shontelle! Siya nalang lahat! Ano ba ako sayo ha? Sino ba ang girlfriend mo? Ako! I'm your girlfriend and not her!"

"Sana nga siya nalang! Shontelle isn't a jealous girl like you, she would ask me my reasons first before jumping to conclusions"

I was stilled, lumabas na mismo sa bibig niya, I could not stop my tears anymore, I pushed him, "Get out! Get out!"

"Celestine, wait-", I managed to push him out my room, I locked my door, I fell down the floor, crying. Ang sakit, hearing that from him, flashbacks were playing inside my head, how supportive Shontelle was back in Senior High School, how they spent more time together, how he chose to stay with her, how he said right into my face how he wished his girl best friend would be his girlfriend, instead of me
