“Stop.” Katuski pushed himself up on his elbows to look down into his eyes. “ Just because you’re young doesn’t mean you can’t fucking do this. You are smart and capable. You’ve managed to take care of yourself up to this point.  You’ll fucking figure it out.”

Eijiro’s eyes water as he looks up at him, and he smiles slightly as the alpha leans down to press a ghost of a kiss to his lips.

“Now get some more sleep. You’re clearly exhausted.” Katsuki muttered.

“I’m not that tired.” He insisted, moving to press their lips together again.

“You really want to look at me and say that? You didn’t wake up when I knocked,” Katsuki said, shooting him a look, and Eijiro paused. It wasn’t a dream. The alpha actually was here with him. He wasn’t sure why he had been so convinced that this had been a dream, and his brain was still trying to process the emotions racing through him at that information. “And if you hadn’t left the front door unlocked, which is something else we should talk about entirely, you probably wouldn’t have even woken up to me breaking down the door after several missed calls.” The look he gave should have made Eijiro nervous, but instead a smirk bloomed across his face.

“You were worried about me?” He teased, earning an eye roll. All worry about this being reality faded as happiness bloomed in his chest again at the alpha’s worry.

“Tch. Of course I was worried, Shitty Hair.” Katsuki huffed. “You’re a young, attractive, unmated, pregnant omega who lives alone.”

“Aww. Cute.” Eijiro beamed.

“Shut up. I’m not fucking cute. I’m thirty. You don’t get to call me cute.” He scowled, which only caused Eijiro’s grin to widen before he grabbed the collar of his hirt, dragging him down to finally press their lips together again. It didn’t last nearly long enough, but it helped to quell the desire that he was starting to feel for a moment. Katsuki pulled away, a scowl on his face still. “Okay, Red, time to go to sleep.”

Eijiro huffed, releasing his grasp on the alpha, who fell next to him. He knew fighting the alpha would be futile, but he really wasn’t tired. Rolling over a little, he positioned himself to where he was slightly pinning the alpha to the bed.

“You better not be doing what I think you’re doing, or we are gonna have some problems, Red.” Katsuki didn’t open his eyes, and Eijiro pouted. “Put that lip away, and go to sleep.”

“We were supposed to go to dinner tonight, and I slept through it, let me make it up to you.” Eijiro insisted. Katsuki opened one eye to look at him disapprovingly.

“Eijiro.” He sighed, opening the other eye now, as he watched the omega’s face. “I appreciate the enthusiasm, but honestly, today was hell at work, and I just want to sleep.”

“You never sleep here. You normally head home after you fall asleep.”

“Well I am tonight. Can we sleep now?”

“Why?” Eijiro pushed. He didn’t know why he needed an answer, but he felt like he needed one.

“What are you? Three? Because I said I was going to.” Katsuki said, closing his eyes again, and throwing an arm over them. “Seriously, go to sleep.” Eijiro wiggled his way up to his face, to where he was hovering above him. “Why can’t you ever just listen?” He groaned.

“Do you want to talk about work?”

“No. I want to sleep. Please go to sleep.” Katsuki sighed.

“Fine.” Eijiro returned the sigh, and put his head onto Katsuki’s chest, tangling their limbs together as he nestled against the alpha. Once he was settled, and the alpha’s scent lulled him to relax, it didn’t take long for him to drift into sleep again.

Eijiro’s nose twitched as the scent of breakfast permeated the air in the room. His eyelids fluttered open to a room bathed in the golden glow of the morning. He stretched his arms above his head, feeling the satisfying stretch of muscles, before getting up to pad to the kitchen. Katsuki stood in the kitchen, frying bacon, and scrambling eggs, and Eijiro’s heart melted at the sight.

“Morning.” Katsuki grumbled, moving the spatula round the pan.

“Good morning.” Eijiro chirped. He wasn’t normally a morning person, but this morning his chest was far too light to feel anything but chipper. They didn’t say much as they set up their breakfast and ate, content with the other’s wordless presence. Halfway through their meal, there was a knock on the door, and Eijiro moved to open it.

“Good morning, Eiji!” His mom cried, wrapping her arms around him, as his mother stepped around the hug and into the apartment. Eijiro’s stomach dropped at the two women’s presence. Normally he was excited to see his moms but in this case there was far too much explaining to do.

“Hi, mom.” He forcefully grinned, squeezing her tight. His brain spiraled to figure out how to handle the situation, when he heard a shuffling from the kitchen. Katsuki stood in the doorway, with a smile on his face, throwing Eijiro off completely.

“Hello Mrs. and Mrs. Kirishima. I’m Katsuki.”
