2034 - Freshman Year, 2nd Semester

Rummaging through the black backpack, Kion reached for the three rolls at the bottom as he sat down untying the rubber bands and counted the bills, separating them in piles. $250 in fives, $200 in tens and $400 in twenties.$850 in total. That was his pay for the day. And maybe the highest amount he's gotten since he's been working for Big Mike.

Nodding at his earnings, KJ reached under his bed and grabbed the shoe box, placing it on top of the blanket. Wrapping the money again and placing it with the other rolls he had in there. All together he had about $7,500 to his name. He just had to move strategically to not get caught up by his parents, and so far he was doing good at keeping his sells hidden.

"Wassup?" KJ answered the phone, tucking it between his ear and shoulder. "Come to this party, Saturday." It was Claudette on the other end, any excuse to see him. KJ smirked, licking the corner of his lip, a party didn't sound half bad, he would get the most sells there. "Ima see what I can do, just lemme know when and where."

This gave him time to pick up more supply; he sold pills and sometimes weed, and what was high in demand for his age group was pills. It was easier for him to store those away than weed, since weed had a stench to it.

"Gabe's house, it starts at ten. You know who he is, KJ." Claudette replied. KJ rose a brow, closing the shoebox and tucking it under his bed again; far enough so it wasn't visible. "Ohhh, that nigga. He on the football team, huh?" He quizzed, trying to pick her brain, because deep down KJ didn't see anything more with Claudette, she was fun to be around, someone who he flirted with just to see how far some shit would go. He also knew she had other niggas, that's why he played what ever game she had going on. "Yeah, him. Sooo come, it'll be fun."

Chuckling lowly, he nodded in response, reiterating that he might slide through. It wasn't definite, but anything to get out the house, and away from his grandparents since Anahi and Cairo weren't home as they were out of town for their other businesses, checking up on those properties and their staff. Finishing the call with Claudette, he decided to text Adeya to see if they could switch their plans around on Saturday. He'd plan to have a full day with her, they would just have to cut it short as he'll need to get ready to attend the party.

In Adeya's eyes, she felt like Kion was putting Claudette before everybody else. Sometimes Adeya felt like distancing herself so KJ can figure it out, but she didn't want to lose her best friend, or seem like she was jealous because they were just friends. She just hated that KJ didn't see Claudette as a distraction because he was still entertaining her, even though he knew how she moved. It was weird to Adeya.
