Nico
I sprinted back to the Hades cabin, Grinning. I did it. I finally did it, I had told Percy Jackson how I felt about him.
Will Solace was standing on the front porch of my cabin with his arms crossed. "Well, Di Angelo? Are you ready to come to the infirmary or will I have to drag you by your shirt?" His slightly irritated voice was laced with a faint southern accent. Not enough to know that he came from Texas, But enough to know he had one. I usually would stubbornly plant my feet and refuse, But considering how drained i had to admit i was, and how it would only be 3 days, I decided not to fight this battle. I shrugged. "Fine. I'll go. But you don't get to watch over me 24 hours." I said, glancing at the infirmary, Across the camp.
"Oh I wouldn't dream of it. Obviously I'll only be with you 20 hours out of the day." I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I was about to find out.
He lead me to the infirmary, Pulling me through the waiting room and down the empty halls. He was grasping my wrist tightly and i pulled back suddenly. "You didn't have to drag me, Solace. I can walk just fine."
"Well, Sorry, Di Angelo. But you have a record of sinking into the shadows when people are trying to help you." He scolded, Then started walking towards the tent. I scoffed and followed him again. He stopped at one of the tents then waited for me to go in. With a scoff and an eye roll, I walked in. Will followed me in and gestured for me to sit down on the cot.
"Get comfortable, You'll be here for a while."
I sat down and crossed my arms while the son of Apollo started to prepare things to heal me. I must admit I was a bit scared and nervous, And was tempted to 'sink into the shadows' as he called it. I crossed my legs nervously as he prepared a water IV.
Will slipped on some gloves and put on a blue healers mask, then rummaged around in the cabinets some, pulling out a stethoscope, some ambrosia, nectar, unicorn drought, bandages,-
He then pulled out supplies for stitches. I grabbed my own arm and scotched away from him. "You are not coming near me with that." I said, staring at the needle. He looked over to me, setting the stuff he had in his hands down.
"Nico, It's my duty to heal you. And knowing you, You'll need stitches."
I opened my mouth to protest,
"No arguing. Now lay back, And.." His voice trailed as he looked away from me.
"And take off your shirt." He said quickly.
"Will!" I shouted. "I am not taking off my shirt, You demented pervert!"
"It's for medical reasons!" He put his hands up in protest. "I promise once the healing is done you can put it back on."
"Oh my gods, Will I swear-"
"Just do it, It'll be done quicker."
I took off my shirt.

Will
I am not a demented pervert. I am a healer.
I knew Nico was going to be hurt pretty badly, so i got out anything and everything. The other healers were too coward to say anything let alone heal him. I didn't (and still don't) understand what everyone's deal is, it's not like he killed people for fun. It wasn't like he would stab you if you looked at him wrong. He wasn't (and is not) a monster. It was honestly sad that so many people including him thought that. So I was determined to heal the stubborn son of Hades. I didn't watch but I could hear him slip his shirt off. I cringed at the thought of me telling him to take his shirt off. I continued to set and prepare things. I needed to be ready for anything, This was Nico Di Angelo we were dealing with. I finished preparing everything and turned..
A slight gasp ripped itself from my mouth.
Infected and poorly stitched claw marks were drawn across Nicos forearm and chest. He stared at the floor, probably ashamed. I didn't say anything as I grabbed the material needed to do stitches. I walked over and laid him back slowly, "You need to lie down. It won't hurt as much." My voice almost broke. The black haired boy laid down and shut his eyes. I started to undo the poor stitches, wincing at the knots as I did so.
"Reyna tried to fix me up." Nico muttered, Answering my unspoken question. "Werewolf encounter."
"The stitches held up, so I suppose they aren't too horrible. But they are doing more harm than good," I explained as I pulled out the last stitch. "Alright. That was probably the easy part." He nodded a bit.
"Please get it over with." He muttered.
So I went to work. I kept some gauze pressed down on the parts that I hadn't fixed yet, and hummed softly, trying to keep him calm. Nico took in a sharp breath in pain, so I took his hand. "Squeeze it as hard as you want." I said, Trying to help the best I could. His breathing got deeper and he squeezed my hand so hard I was almost scared it was going to crack. But I let him anyways, Knowing it would help.
I'll spare you the rest of the bloody details, But after about an hour and a half, I was done. I got up, Not letting go of Nicos hand. I reached over to the counter and after a few tries, grabbed to water IV. I let go of Nicos hand, As i needed to use both hands to hook it up. He opened his eyes, his hand dropping towards the floor. "What are you doing now, Will?" He asked, turning his head a tiny bit.
"Water IV. It's obvious you're dehydrated."
I quickly yet efficiently set the IV in his arm, Then made sure everything was hooked up okay. I looked over to see his eye lull a bit, and his breaths steady. "Are we done?"
I smiled a bit to myself. "Yeah, We're done for today."
"Today?" Nico groaned in protest. "I forgot I have 2 more days with you."
"I think we already handled the worst, Nico."
I started to clean up. "You can fall asleep, I know your tired."
"I'm not tired," He protested tiredly.
"Uh-huh." I set some stuff back into the cabinets, and took my gloves off, tossing them into the waste basket in the corner.
"...."
"Nico?" I looked over to see the son of Hades sleeping peacefully. Like an angel, Just like how his last name would suggest. I smiled.
"Night, Di Angelo."
I said as I quietly walked out of the tent, Shutting the lights off.

Nico
I woke up with a start, A bit of pain burning in my arm and chest. I had a nightmare of Tartarus again. It summed to be burned into my mind, Taunting me, and reminding that I would never forget it. My eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness, And I saw the drip IV in my arm. I winced and tried to stand up, leaning on the IV stand for some support. I slipped, Forgetting the stand had wheels. I caught myself quickly, and inched to the door. Where was Will? He told me he would stay with me. Maybe that was a joke, but.. Gods, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. Of course he wasn't there. But, Also, Why did I care? I didn't want him to look after me, But still.. I felt safe around him. And I wanted to feel safe I guess. Waking up alone in the infirmary, in the dark, with IVs hooked to you, It's not exactly pleasant. I opened the door and started slowly down the hall then realized the IV and stand was only going to slow me down. I slowly took out the IV and rolled it back to the room I was in, then started back down the cold and dark hallways. I shivered, as the freezing AC blew through the infirmary. I started to see a light, (No, Not that kind of light.) and walked towards it. As I turned the corner, I saw Will Solace hunched over a few papers, writing slowly. The fluorescent light flickered a bit, causing a slight headache. "Will?" I croaked.
His head shot up. "Nico? What are you doing? Why are you out of bed? And why don't you have the water IV?" He sounded worried mixed with frustrated at me.
"I came looking for you," I said, shielding my eyes from the flickering fluorescent light.
"I thought you were going to stay with me."
He opened his mouth to say something then decided against it, his eyes falling back to the stack of papers. "I'm sorry, Nico. Here, Let's get you back to bed." He stood up, rubbing his eyes. I raised an eyebrow.
"Wait. You asked me what I was doing up, But what are you doing up?" I pressed. "It's like, 3 in the morning."
"Paperwork. We healers have to write and track every injury that we treat. Chiron asks of it to see what he might be able to do to make the camp a bit safer, yet still a training ground." The blonde boy explained. "Now, Bed." He took my hand softly, Walking beside me back to the room.
We walked in and he closed the entrance again.
I sat back down on the cot, Frustration starting to build up. "Will, I'm not a helpless child. I don't need you to take my hand and take me back to bed if I get up. You don't need to baby me."
Will Solace sighed. "I know. I'm sorry, Nico. I'll try not to. But as your healer, I do have to make sure you get.. Well, Healed." He said, Sitting down next to me.
"I know. Thanks.." I said, Resting my hands on my elbows.
"Nico," Will said, Taking my hand again. A shock went through my body every time he did, but somehow, I didn't mind. "Look at me."
I glanced up at the son of Apollo, Not bringing myself to look at his eyes. Instead, My eyes fell to the freckles sprinkled across his nose and cheeks. "I'm going to stay with you. I promise."
Hearing those words, Made my heart skip a beat. I had heard those words before. Bianca. Percy. Jason. Fuck, Even Reyna! 2/4 of them broke their promises, so I was at a 50/50 ratio. But somehow, I believed him. I was willing to take a risk. I nodded. "Alright." A tiny smile tugged at the corner of my mouth.
"It's getting late, Nico—"
"Bed. I know. And you won't leave my side." I said, more of a demand than repeating his words. I laid down and pulled him with me, content. 3 days didn't seem so long anymore.
