ShengHuo starts classes in February 9th, giving 9 years of study.
Mandatory classes in Shenghuo are:
- Astronomy
- Potions
- Transfiguration
- Charms
- Flying Classes (all years)
- Defense Against the Dark Arts
- History of magic
- Herbology
- Non verbal magic
- Duels
- Magic Poetry
And Elective Classes, from Third Year until Ninth year are:
- Divination
- Healing spells
- Omens
- Zodiac Symbols
- Magical Creatures
- Care of Deep Sea Magical Creatures
- Channel of Energy
Students take their OWLs in 6th year and take their NEWTs in 9th year.
When students finish their nine years of Study, they spend a whole year training in the Advanced Magical Ability Department of the Ministry, when everything is complete, they graduate and leave their personal marks in one of the walls in the garden of the school, which if touched recitates musical notes that get to all the students, no matter where they all are
