Liu Xiu Ying and Zhao Wang Lei were husband and wife, they founded the house of Meili.
Xiu Ying was calm and serene but with an iron will no one matched, she rarely got angry, but when she did, the tiger inside her was unleashed.
Wang Lei was shy and sometimes insecure, but he was always willing to prove himself and learn from everyone.
They met when when Wang Lei, a half-blood wizard who belonged to a hunting and gathering tribe, got hurt after hunting a deer and Xiu Ying, who was praying to the moon helped heal him in her cottage, they gradually fell in love and Wang Lei accepted to fight for Xiu Ying's hand against his ruthless, stronger and older brother Fu Meng 浮梦 who was also in love with Xiu Ying.
Fu Meng fled and swore vengeance against his brother .
Xiu Ying was a 白虎(baihu)- descended witch who used to live in a cottage near to a river, the baihus were wizards who were able to control animals. She lived isolated from all the other villagers, and the only good friend she had was Fu Meng, until she met his brother Wang Lei.
Xiu Ying was calm and serene but with an iron will no one matched, she rarely got angry, but when she did, the tiger inside her was unleashed.
They were not able to have children and adopted Song Mei Yang, an orphan girl who longed to meet her biological parents.
Mei Yang was an adventurous girl and she made a lot of trips to make notes and learn more about magic and help many children, her influence was so important that many home-schooled children of her time used her notes in reference. She founded Huo li House and many other small schools in Wenzhou, Shanghái, Hong Kong and Tangshan.
Chen Liu Wei was an old childhood friend of Wang Lei, Liu Wei was born in Taipei, he was the son of a pureblood magic professor who taught Liu Wei everything he needed in order to survive, Liu Wei grew up to be a teacher and a farmer, founding Shoucheng House.
Liu Wei had the dream of founding a new school in China, and he contacted Xiu Ying, Wang Lei and Mei Yang to found a school around 3000 B.C.
Xiu Ying suggested the name Shenghuo as she felt the school needed to teach children to value life and how to be connected to their ancestors and to the future.
They built the school in the top Zhangjiajie's peaks so that they could avoid curious muggles.
The School is built based in a shinto-confucian style and is painted on black, white, red and golden with large stairs, students arrive to Shenghuo in diverse ways, from flying in a dragon, being on a water dragon shaped submarine, or casting the spell 魔术 (mó shûo) which teletransports them to the school, they get an admission letter a month before classes, (they start in August 15th) and the ma gua borns receive help from someone of the staff of Shenghuo.
