I then got up and felt the heat around me. It was sunny outside and the morning was adding to that heat.

'I'm gonna get exhausted quickly by the heat, or get a heat stroke even. Probably a bad idea to keep wearing a black hoodie?'

I put my bow an arrows down as I took off the hoodie an wrapped it around my waist. I then grabbed my backpack and closed it.

She got free but was covered again. She looked shocked an upset as I got up an put the backpack on.

"C'mon, I think we should move to a part of the forest with less mud." I said

I stopped an suddenly the forest in front of the cave looked different and dry. No mud and felt fresh.

"Did- is it just me or did the forest shift?" Hoodie asked

"I thought the forest shift was off or not allowed so we could play?" Masky asked

I looked at them confused and also questioning this shift.

'Wait they didn't hear that? And shift? Whats this forest shift shit?'

I shook my head of it but was still confused.

"Well this shift helped a lot, so lets go!" I said

I headed out an readied an arrow as smiles an seedeater walked with me. I kept my eyes peeled and guard up as I heard the tree's rustle.

"Y'know thats really distracting and its hard to listen to my surroundings with the trees just shaking, right?" I asked

Smiles growled and I got on guard an looked around.

"Smiles sniff them out." I asked

He ran ahead and I followed as seed disappeared. I looked around and then stopped dead in my tracks. Snare trap.

I heard a dog yelp and I looked to see smiles got caught in a snare.

"Heh heh...what was that?" He asked embarrassed

I giggled a bit an carefully went over the traps and got to smiles. I untied him and caught him in my arms as he fell.

"No problem buddy!" I chuckled

He licked my face an I giggled. He stopped and I shook my head with a smile. I got out of the mess of snare traps and put smiles down.

"There might be more traps so watch out-"

Smiles walked forward and a net was triggered as it shot up from the ground, trapping him.
