"Kinky." Cameron coughed

I 'pft' at them but felt my cheeks kinda heat up.

"That's a weird thing to take interest in a girl for but okay." I teased

'He liked me even though I wanted nothing to do with him and he then saves my life....am I a horrible person?...Do I deserve to be here, to probably die here..?'

We then heard running near by and we shut up, not making a single sound.

"Why are we searching and what are we search for again?" A male whined

"We're searching for four teenagers and we're searching for them because they're getting too close to the mansion." Another more threatening voice said

"Y-yeah! An-and if we-we f-f-f-f-find them then we w-will ge-get to kill them and kill the one o-o-offen-offender brought!" Another ticking voice cheered

"Well if we get a prize kill then I'm more than happy to search!" The first voice said

We heard them underneath us an katrina was still snoring.

"Hey g-gu-uys there's a-a-a-a pig i-n the t-t-tr-ree!" The ticking voice said

"Huh, I thought splendor already collected all the pigs." The calm voice said

"Slender did say he miscounted." The threatening one said

"Should we get it?" The calm one asked

"Nah, I wanna deal with kills!" The threatening one said," Not with pigs."

They continued walking as the leaves crunched and angel looked like he wanted to laugh. He mouthed 'I told you' to us an we shook our heads.

We then relaxed and looked at one another.

"They're treating this like a game!" I whispered," Mark is the prize, we're their points to get the prize!"

"Let's talk about this in the morning, now that we know he's okay." Angel whispered

We nodded and they both used their hoodies to tie themselves to the tree so they wouldn't fall. I stayed up as I left my hoodie back in the cabin to make space for the supplies.

'I definitely regret that.'

I just stayed there in thought as I tried not to wonder off into my dreams...

The Next Day

"Y/N Get up." Cameron said gently as katrina was complaining

I awoke with a small jump an looked around to see the forest. Katrina was crying and complaining at angel as he tried to shut her up an cameron was in front of me.

I rubbed my tired eyes and got up as I saw the early morning sun.

"And if you all leave me alone like that again I will make these monsters hunt you down and give them all kinds of information to help them you abandoning fucking cunts!" Katrina cried

"Okay okay! We're sorry! We just moved one tree over cause you were snoring." Angel said," Now shut up before you get us all killed."

"SNORING!" She shouted," I DO NOT SNORE-"

I went to her an immediately covered her mouth an pinned her to the tree. 

"Shut the fuck up before I cut out you voice box and make you shut up permanently!" I warned

She nodded as her eyes widened in fear. I let her go an she didn't say a word as I turned to angel an cameron.

"Okay, now lets get some things figured out." I said," First thing we know is that they're keeping mark alive as a prize, and we are the points in order to get that prize."

"Which makes this a game where they have to hunt us down, a free for all basically." Cameron said

"Exactly!" I said," So I say, lets turn the tables on them an try to hunt them down, whenever they give up we can follow them to the mansion they were talking about where mark most definitely is at!"

I looked at the tracks an examined the floor.

"Once at this mansion and we find mark, we get him the fuck out of there and run to the nearest path we see. And I say a path because it's a mansion and no matter where a house would be there's going to be a path leading to it and leading to a-"

"An exit!" Angel an cameron gasped

"Good, you're keeping up!" I said," But after we run on the path we gotta hide an stray away from it, just literally hide in a bush or tree next to the path! Once the coast is clear, we continue following the path and go home! We don't call the cops, we don't go to the hospital, we go home and just tell everyone that we went to a party that we happened to have also been spending the night at."

"Wait why are we gonna lie and not go-"

"Because every monster, killer- whatever is after us is worried we'll tell someone about whatever house is here or whatever they don't want us to leave this forest with. So if we leave, tell the lie I said and not go anywhere that will definitely get us killed then we should probably be fine." I said

"That's pretty smart actually..." Katrina said," I vote we do it! Whatever will let us live!"

"But...But they are trying to kill us, why would we hide them-"

"Because if we go telling people about it, they will put our faces on the front page of those findings and these killers or things will come find us and kill us!" I said," And I'd much rather keep living and doing dumb things at school, thank you very much!"

"Y/Ns plans haven't failed us yet." Cameron said," I also vote that we do it!"

"Fine, I'll do it but we can't guarantee that they won't come after us after we leave." Angel said 

"We'll just have to hope they don't." I said gently

We started looking at the tracks but it was a bust, the rest of the way was either rock or grass an there's not much of a difference to see any drag marks.

"For now, before we find a killer or something to follow lets continue forward from where the tracks end." I said

"Alright." Katrina said," We're trusting you, Y/N!"

They continued forward and I now felt the pressure of keeping their lives safe within my hands.

'Oh no, I'm going to get us killed- no wait! I don't wanna be in charge anymore, I didn't mean to take charge!'

I followed them and felt sick at the thought of them getting killed right before my eyes.

'I just lead us to our deaths, didn't I..?'
