"I trust your judgment" Carlos said and kissed my cheek
" I have to go to the offices" Carlos said and I looked confused
"What offices?" I asked and he looked at me with wide eyes
"I forgot to tell you. My bad. I am the mee CEO of Smirnov Enterprises" Carlos said and my jaw dropped
I smack his head which resulted in him screaming "ow"
"That's what you get for not telling me" I said
" I'm sorry" Carlos said and kissed me
"Fine. You are forgiven. Now leave" I said and he nodded and left
I went back to work trying to find anything I can use to find Marco
I got a notification from faith saying that she can't convince her dad to hand her over the mafia, so that means we are coming for Marco.
I called a few assassins seeing who could go to Italy and kidnap Marco for me since he would know if Carlos or I stepped on Italian soil.
I decided to call someone who owed me a favor. I just have to find their number.
A few hours later
I took a break from trying to get his number to go home and show Amanda her new home
As I got to the lobby I see Amanda sitting waiting for me
"Ready to see your home" I said and she nodded
"Ok. Let's go"
We headed to my car and after a few minutes we arrive at the house. As we pulled up Amanda's jaw dropped
"You live here?" Amanda questioned
"Yup. Carlos, Adriana, and I live here with our staff. I know it's a big house but it doesn't feel empty. I hate that feeling so there are always people around and they are very nice and talkative if you need help or someone to talk to" I said and she nodded and followed me
"We can head over to your home. We wanted to give your own wing, but decided you might not be comfortable staying with us so we have a small house in our backyard that will be your new home. It's a 3 minute walk from the back door. Follow me" I said
We passed the garden and a few fountains.
"I love our backyard. Sometimes I like doing work out here. It's relaxing. Hearing the water and smelling the fresh flowers. Don't be shy with anything, our house is your house too so don't be a stranger" I said smiling lightly
"You are so nice. I thought you were going to be scary. Everyone around the warehouse says you are to be feared" Amanda said which made me chuckle
"I can be scary when needed. Usually I'm pretty much like this. Also We would like if you had breakfast with us in the morning. It's a tradition to eat breakfast together as it is the most important meal of the day, but if you don't feel comfortable it's okay" I said trying to seem nice
"I would love to join y'all for breakfast" Amanda said and I stopped walking
