Chapter 1: The Realization

Several moons ago, in a high school, studied Aidan: An introvert with barely any social interactions. He's an average guy who no one in the class talks to except his best friend, Joyce. Since 7th grade, Aidan has had a crush on one of the most popular girls in his school, Grace. Grace is a kind, smart, and extremely talented girl who is the captain of the dancing team.

Aidan has studied in the same school as her but could never bring himself to talk to her. He wasn't confident and very insecure. To be honest, he wasn't really good-looking either. But, after the summer vacations of his sophomore year (10th grade) he came back to school with quite an impressive glow up. He was more confident and started looking like a model for Vogue. Slowly, his classmates started talking to him and girls started noticing him. All this was very unusual for him so it took him some time to get settled in his new life.

By the end of his sophomore year, he got very popular and by the time his junior year (11th grade) summer vacations started, he started getting overwhelmed by his newfound popularity. Aidan, who was earlier a nobody, starts playing around with girls of his school and other schools as well. His best friend, Joyce warned him saying. "I know you're all popular know and I feel good for you too but you're getting carried away now. You should get out of it while you can before something goes wrong."

Aidan replies to this by saying, "Don't worry, I'm just enjoying my high school years after being barely noticed for all those years. Let me cherish these times!"

Joyce gets annoyed by this reply of his and said, "Whatever. Don't tell me I didn't warn you before."

After being blinded for the first 4 months of his junior year, he realizes his blunders when Grace walks in on him making out with a girl at a party and he sees the disappointed look on her face. He knew he messed up big time. The next day, Aidan told Joyce what happened.
"What should I do now?" asked Aidan.
"I told you to get out of all that before anything went wrong but you just wouldn't listen," said Joyce. "Do you still like her? If you do then I think you already know what to do."
"I know," he said in shame of his mistakes "I will fix everything as soon as possible and prove myself worthy of being with Grace before asking her out."
"Good. Now get at it before I have to kick your butt"
Aidan laughs, "Got it boss" he says, with a smile of dedication on his face.

Grace, the most popular girl in the school, the girl whom Aidan has loved since middle school, notices the smallest details in everything and is very good at understanding people. She is the kindest and most generous person in the school. But, she has never been in a relationship despite the number of guys who have asked her out. This is for a very simple reason: She likes someone with all her heart.

She has tried talking to him but couldn't because she always thought she wasn't good enough. Typical rookie mistake. Her best friend, Thea, gets tired of her being so scared of making moves.
"You have to do something because if you don't then I will definitely do something about it myself and you won't like it," she says. "He won't just come and ask you out if you guys never talk. He isn't a mind reader"

"I don't know, Thea. Whenever I approach him to talk I just get so nervous even though I do public speaking almost every weekend" replies Grace. "I try really hard you know. But I haven't really done anything about it yet. I don't know how to go through with it."

"Then what am I here for? You just had to ask me to help you! Here's what you have to do: First of all, you have to make him jealous. For that you have to date other guys for a while which will be very easy for you since all of them are crazy for you anyway" claims Thea. "Secondly: You have to dress better. The plain dressing doesn't attract guys much and last but not least: Learn how to flirt like a pro. I'll guide you through the last one completely so you don't have to worry about that."

"Umm Alright but are you sure this will work?" asked Grace.
"Of course it will. Trust me, this has worked every time" said Thea with a wink and confidence

Grace, although nervous, is really excited about her new challenge. Thea helps her prepare herself for this mystery man.
