Acrostic: Let Go of it Olan!

Let go of it, is an idiom that applies to about anything, right?

Even in calm winds our grip is firm, in a breeze we want

To control everything about our lives, with every inch

Given we hang on for dear life, yet ultimately it slips into

Oblivion, and we watch as it escapes the gravity of our well.

Over-and-over we watch things escape, get old, or we no longer desire

For our collection. Old models we toss away, forget, and turn to rust.

It is not for us to keep, never was ours, they are just loaners

That appear, give us amusement to collect, pass along,

Or return to dust. A smith forges them, gives them being,

Love them with their sweat, love, and power. The decrees of Earth,

And the languages we use, be the powers we share forever, it is

Never ours, it is given us to catch in the ether, and then to part.
