THE NEXT MORNING

CLAY'S POV

i woke up went to the kitchen and made breakfast nick soon came out of his room for food he doesn't normally get up this early. he usually sleeps in a bit more. "your up early" i said while grabbing milk from the fridge for cereal "hey clay" he said with a sleepy voice "do you have any streams today" i ask "not that i know of " he said as he grabs a apple from the counter "ok. oh yeah do you need anything while im out today" i say "aww you have your date with makenzie today" he said while making a kissing face teasing me "that didn't answer my question" i say seriously "no im good. im going to head back to my room. i have to edit this crazy long video. have fun with your girlfrienddd" he said. i rolled my eyes at him playfully when he walked away. after i finish eating my breakfast i went back to my room to get dressed.

MAKENZIE'S POV

i woke up like it was just a normal day. shower, brush my teeth, brush my hair, moisturizer. i got dressed casual but fancy considering we were going to a fair

for makeup i just did light makeup concealer, mascara, nothing to big for right now since it was just a fair. then i straightened my hair. by the time i finished it was 10:50.

i hear my phone ding

I go down to the stairs and out the door to see a chest. I forgot that he was way taller then me since i was around 5'5½. I looked up and see him smile. i smiled back. "hi clay" i say "h-hey makenzie you look g-good" i start to blush. this wasn't really meant to be like a date but i could tell it was turning into that type of hangout and i wasn't mad about it but i don't want to make him feel uncomfortable "you too" i say now looking away hoping it would hide the fact i was blushing  "so are you ready to go?" he asked "yeah" i smile at him "lets go then" he said walking towards his car

NARRATOR POV

they were sitting in the car. she was looking out the window and he was focusing on the driving. there was faint music playing but other than that it was silent "so how did you find this fair" he said "my work is just down the street and also my friend told me it was open this whole week. it only open on certain days though so its rare to have it open for a full week" she said "i used to go when i was a kid but then it always came on the days i was extremely busy so i had to stop going. well except this year" she turned her head to look at him. he wanted to look at her but he had to keep his eyes on the road. "so how was your work thing that you had last night" she said remembering how fast he ran out yesterday. "what- ohh that thing yeah it was ok i guess" "anddd i think we are here" he said as he pulls into a parking lot that goes to the beach which is also near the fair
