~Dream's POV~ 

I was walking In the rain as I spaced out and thought about the most random things, my clothes were wet but I didn't mind that 

"Meow" 

What- 

I look down an alleyway and see a scared brown cat, I slowly walk up to it 

It was shaking and wet from the rain 

"Come here" I say in a soft voice "it's ok" I get down on my knees not caring if my pants get dirty from the ground 

I reach out my hand for the cat to sniff, the cat slowly decides to approach me and sniff my finger. The cat looks up at me and gives me a raspy meow 

I've always loved cats, I was never allowed to get one as a kid though 

"How about I take you home?" I ask the little kitty, the cat walks over to my side and rubs against it. 

I see that the little kitty is a girl, I was kind of hoping it was a girl

"We should probably go get you stuff, before we head home" I say, I pet her before trying to pick her up from her belly

BOOM 

Thunder struck and the cat jump out of my arms while scratching my hand

"OW" I groan, the cat ran back into the corner of the alleyway

I sigh and slowly walk back over to her

"It's ok, come here" I say lovingly, she lifts her head from the ground and shakily walks back over  to me

I cautiously pick her, I rub her head to comfort her 

She start to quietly purr, I look down at her and smile 

~George's POV~

Another raining day...

I'm working at this pet shop for years, it was like a home away from home 

I loved all the animals not so much the people, but oh well 

My cat, Luca had recently passed away 

I coped by coming to the shop and seeing all the pets, I really did love my job 

My personal favorite thing to do was help homeless animals, cats to be specific 

People would often drop off homeless cats at our front door, rarely would they bring them inside, which I thought was really rude 

Everything it rained I thought about the cats and other animals out there, it made me sad 

But I've learned to know I can't help everyone of them
