~Dream's POV~

I looked up the nearest pet store and headed that way 

The rain stopped and the sun slightly pushed through the clouds

I walk into the store with patches still I'd my hands 

"Welcome to ____ pet store!" I heard someone say with a little British accent just to the left of me 

I look over to the voice and who it belong to, it was a pretty brown headed guy 

"Oh! A stray?" The worker asked happily 

"Uh yeah actually" I look at the cat then to the guy

"Do you want a towel to dry off?" He asks while walking over to me, while he stood next to me I looked at his name tag 

It said 'George' 

That's a pretty name for a pretty boy...

"Uh yeah, a towel will be nice if you don't mind" I ask worriedly 

"I don't mind!" He says with a smile Looking at my cat "I'll be right back" he adds while this time smiling at me 

I nod and put the stray down,  I bend down to her and pet her waiting for George 

"Sorry for the wait" he walks back in with two towels, one that looked nice and the other not so much 

"Here you go, I got one for you and your cat" he says shyly 

I thank him and take the towel for my cat, she looks at me and meows 

"Here you go" I start rubbing her fur with the towel, she sits and lifts her head and starts to per 

"What's their name?" He asked, while looking only at her. I look at him while still drying the cat off 

"I haven't named her yet" I stated, he hums and bends down 

"I can dry her off while you dry yourself off?" He offers, I nod as he takes the towel the cat jumps at the sudden change 

George just softly giggles and let's my cat sniff his hand, she warmly rubbed against his hand and let him dry her off 

She seems like the perfect cat

Oh! I need a name for her

Uhh What about patches...?

I continued to dry myself off as much as I can 

"What if I named her patches?" I said aloud as he looks at me then back down to her 

"I like that name, i mean it's up to you of course!" He said while slightly blushing, I smile 

"Patches it is" I say with a little laugh 

"It fits her" he says, he finished drying off Patches and stood up 

"My names George by the way" he added, while putting out his hand for a handshake 

"My names Dream" I smile while shaking his hand 

"Meow" patches says as she gets on her back paws and her front paws on my leg, I giggle and pick her up 

"She really is cute" George says while rubbing her head "I can help you with buying stuff if you need?" He shyly mentions

"That would be helpful" I add 

We talked for about an hour of just I need for Patches, we may have talked just to talk to but still 

Patches seemed to like George more then me, which I thought that it was funny 

People keep going to the shop, so I decided to leave for the day 

"It was really nice talking to you George" I shyly say 

"It was nice talking to you too, and patches of course" he smiled as Patches meowed at him 

We both laugh as we say our goodbyes for the day
