Recipe 10:Swiss Roll

                          Swiss Roll

Ingredients                            Quantities
Flour                                              100g
Sugar                                              100g
Eggs                                                4 big
Vanilla                                            1 tsp
Nutmeg                                          1 tsp
Jam sauce or chocolate sauce   By choice

                                Method
1:Line a greased baking sheet with a plain sheet.
2:Put a saucepan of water on fire but ensure that it doesn't boil.
3:Sieve flour twice then add the nutmeg.
4:Break the eggs into a mixing bowl and add the sugar to it.
5:Place the mixing bowl on the saucepan containing hot water( make sure the bowl doesn't touch the hot water,it's the steam that is required).
6:Whisk egg and sugar on the saucepan until it becomes light and fluffy.
7:Add vanilla and remove from the saucepan then add the sieved flour  little by little and cut and fold.
8:Pour the uniformly mixed mixture into the lined baking sheet spreading it evenly to all corners of the baking sheet and bake.
9:While baking,wet a clean napkin and place it on a chopping board then place a plain sheet on it.
10:Grease the plain sheet with margarine then sprinkle sugar on it.
11:After baking,turn it unto the plain sheet and remove all the papers around it .
12:Spread the jam sauce or chocolate on it then fold using a palette knife.
13:Cut into desirable shapes and serve.
