"Alright I need to go ASAP! It almost 7pm. I took all the time for going in dressing up" y/n spoke hurriedly

TIME SKIP
Y/n slowly went near towards the restaurant IU gave the location of. Her eyes looked for some kind of surprise things like maybe balloons or familiar faces yet none showed. She went inside the restaurant.

As she was looking around, someone tapped on her shoulder. She froze and turned around to see a guy standing there smiling.

"Do I know you?" she asked confused

"No. Are you y/n?" he asked

"Uhm...yes I am. Why?"

"Oh! You've finally arrived to our blind date that my cousin IU set up!" He spoke joyfully

"OUR WHAT NOW? WAIT WHAT ?!" Y/n was freaking out

She was already going to date soobin. And if someone saw her date and showed it to her brothers then .... 🧍🏻—>🪦

"Let's sit and our table I reserved" he spoke

"I don't even know you" she said restlessly

"Oh sorry. I'm Eunwoo. Come on now it's beside the window with the scenery" he said

Y/n stood there still while eunwoo went to sit at their table. She was having a inner debate with herself. It would look and be rude to IU and eunwoo if she didn't go to her date. Eunwoo made special reservations already. And IU wouldn't want her to diss her surprise and cousin like that.

"Y/n! Are you coming?" He asked

"I- yeah I guess i am" she spoke and went towards their table

They ordered some food and in the mean time they talked. Y/n sat there with a big fake smile plastered across her face. She smiled and nodded every minute. In her mind, she may be regretting her entire existence.

The reason why Y/n didn't want to attend this date was not Eunwoo. Eunwoo wasn't bad at all. He seemed nice and friendly. Maybe a bit cute. But she already had thing with soobin and she didn't want to give false hope to Eunwoo about this date that could be something else in the future.

AFTER DINNER
Y/n and eunwoo went out of the restaurant.

"Well this date was good. I think now I should get go-" she was cut off

"Yes it was good. Amazing! We should take a stroll down these streets. Come on" he said holding her hand

"I- um ok" she spoke

Y/n had no choice but to go. She didn't want to be rude. So now, the two were holding hands walking down the streets of Korea, passing by stores and markets.

"We should take a picture, there's a tree right there. Let's take it there" eunwoo said

"Ok?" Y/n dragged herself there

"Wait a minute. My shirt's button is undone. I think it's broken" he said

"It's not broken. It can be fixed" she said

"Oh, could you" he said

"Um..." she hesitated

"It's just a button" he spoke

"Alright come here" she said

She stood on her heels and fixed his button. (Imagine this as if a wife is fixing her husband's tie)

"YAHHHH" a yell was heard

They both turned around to see soobin standing there looking horrified with some shopping bags in his hand.

"Why did he have to come now. The worst timing n the world!" Y/n thought

She immediately let go of eunwoo's collar. She pushed herself away from him and went to soobin.

"It's not what you think it is. Soobin believe me" she pleaded

"The hell were you doing there with a stranger. If his button is undone then let him fix it himself" soobin spoke madly

"I'm not a stranger, she's my blind date. We are on a date and you are interrupting it" Eunwoo said

"BISH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT" y/n thought angrily in her head

"A blind what?! Y/n !?" He turned to her with a shocked face

"No no no no. Baby let's talk and I'll sort this out. It's not what you think" she spoke hurriedly and held his hand

"Don't baby me. Go to him" he removed her hand harshly and threw himself out of her grip.

He picked his bags and walked away. Y/n called out to him but he never turned back. Like the most perfect timing in the world, it started to rain at that moment.

Y/n sighed and bent down like she was squatting. Slow tears mixed with rain fell down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry y/n. I didn't know he was your boyfriend" Eunwoo said

"He's not my boyfriend" she spoke quietly

"Then what?" He asked

"We are just dating unofficially. So he's my unofficial boyfriend" she explained quietly

"Are you just going to crouch there. The rain will get heavier. You'll get sick and have a fever" he said

"Fever? What about the fever I have right now. The lovesick one"

"He really came at the most worst time in the world Huh"

"I better get going Eunwoo. This date whatever it was, it was good. But don't expect something to grow or start from here. Hope you understand"

"I do. Goodbye"

Y/n let out a weak smile and stood up. Eunwoo bought her an umbrella before she left.

Eunwoo called IU to tell her how his date turned out. And to make sure she apologized to y/n tomorrow.
