Things to Know
Razule is set in a post world war 1 europe
Late 19th century, early 20th century
There are early forms of cars, trains, and airplanes
They still use telegrams
Guns are very common (no more swords)
Razule is heavily based of Russia, its culture, land, and language
Many of the weird words have been put through google translate, so I apologize if you don't know how to pronounce them

If you've ever watched Violet Evegarden, basically same setting (If you haven't, you should-its on netflix and only has 12 episodes)

The Pantheon -
There are six major gods in the pantheon
The Sun god - Solantis
In the pantheon
Ra + Zeus
He used to be human, but he really wanted to be important so he went to the witch of the town, who graced him with godhood, but also cursed him [The Rise and Fall of Solantis -]
That's why no one can look at the sun
Cast Lux (the moon goddess) out of the sky because he was jealous of the power
Bother to the Moon god,
Usually sun gods are really important, but Marum is the big god they worship
Symbols- sun/ spears/ gold/ medals/ birds/ darkness in light/ some sort of yin and yang with the moon
The Ocean godess - Okean
In the pantheon
Controls the ocean
Parent of all sea life
Has 17 water spirit-daughters (these are like the mermaids or the nymphs)
Married to the minor god, the moon god
lesbian lovers
Associated with- waves/dusk/ fish/ silver / soft music
The God of Life and Death - Vitamoren
In the pantheon
Multiple personalities
Is sibling to the goddess who created humans
Kind of hates humans, as they almost stopped her from being a major god, so she's particularly wrathful towards them in both forms
When they are in their life form they use she/her pronouns, and when they're in their death form they use he/him pronouns
Betrayed Leayudi to become a god in the pantheon
Associated with-lynxes/scythes/ lanterns/ off-yellowy white
The God of Wisdom - Tio
In the pantheon
Intelligence and wisdom make the Tiea more powerful
Brother to Marum
He is a pacifist and uses his wisdom to avoid war or conflict
Loves talking things out, but will trick you if need be
Associated with-architecture/ books/ feathers/ dolphins/ sphinxes
Goddess of souls - Marum
In the pantheon
Her realm is the astral plane, also referred to as the overworld/ Marums night heavens
This is where all souls go to wander, no matter how good or bad they were in life
When you are dead it is believed that you are stripped down of everything except your souls, which is considered to be the purest part of you
She also guides lost souls and is prayed to when someone dies
Gifted the power of Tiea to humans
associated with- pure darkness/ pure light/ fireflies(if you see one its an omen that a spirit follows you)/ flowers / vultures( if you see one it's a sign a vicious spirit follows you)
God of the evil - Nebess
In the Pantheon
The root of all evil
His creatures are evil spirits
These are souls that have been stolen from Marum, usually ones that were evil during life
Marum believes that all souls are equal in death
Nebess causes sickness
At war with Marum
Associated with - smoke/ coins or den'gi (money)/ goats/ green
Minor gods -
The Goddess of the Moon - Lux
Married to Okean (the goddess of the ocean)
Very very old
Helps rule the ocean (pulls the tides)
Sometimes is there in the day as a silent rebellion to the sun, who cast them out of the pantheon
Sister to the sun god
associated with- moths/ shells/ light in the darkness/ some sort of yin and yang with the sun
The One who Created Living Things - Leaydui
Was betrayed by the god of life and death
Created plants, animals, humans
Different from Vitamorten because it created the vessels that hold the life
Competing against Vitamorten to become a god in the pantheon
Also known as The One
Vitamortens sibling
associated with - seeds/ humans/ bumblebees/ yellow
Earth god - Zeimlyer
Caused the Great Calamity
Married to the God of Fire (Iger)
Its said when he and Iger fight, volcanos erupt
Fairly reserved
Was a popular choice for the Pantheon, and could have won easily, but he didnt purse/didnt want to/didn't care about it
associated with - trees/ rocks/ grey, brown, black/ earthy colors/badgers
God of Fire - Iger
Married to Zeimlyer
Brother to Solantis
Also associated with war
But not very war torn
More about the spirit of fighting, and being brave and defending what you love
Also about never giving up
Associated with - phoenixes / red/ yellow/ orange / swords/ feathers/ war
Goddess of Air - Vozeali
Also controls wind
Kind of needy, really wants to be in the pantheon
Was a human granted god-ness as a child
Likes power
associated with- wind/ butterflies/ periwinkle / dandelions
Goddesses of love - Lyorea
There are two of them
They are prayed to with all kinds of love (platonic/familial/romantic)
They change their gender based on what their target audience is and how they think it'd benefit them
Can be known to be tricksters, so it's a gamble praying to them
Associated with - hearts/ pink/ purple/ confetti/ poisonous frogs
God of Sickness - Lezney
Creates sickness
Is not viewed as bad, instead as a punishments
Punishments for wars, or for putting a bad law in place
Very calm in myths
His brother is Zoriv
Associated with - green / flies/ dirt/ if flowers wither it means sickness follows
God of Health - Zoriv
Eccentric
Mad scientist type personality
Loves all kinds of scientific discoveries
The face/mascot of a lot of schools
Lightning/ beakers/ bats/ blue
Goddess of the arts - Tantisvat
Gifts people with the skill
These are chosen ones
Chosen ones are reserved a special place in the overworld when they die
Fun and caring
Associated with - paintbrushes/ dance shoes/ fabric/ clay/ beavers
Words to know -
Lectums - the ones who complete the Searti to free the dead (also called Bone Ferriers)
Searti - the ritual done to free spirits that haven't been able to pass on, these happen on the solstice, and are done with a Kost. When the spirits have been summoned, they are pushed through a portal into the overworld, where Marum will deal with them.
Kost - a flute made from the bone of a vulture and blessed by Marum, this summons the spirits when it's time for Searti. It also opened the Kovit to let them pass through.
Kovit - the portal in which spirits go through to get to the Overworld
Tiea - the power of necromancy as gifted by Marum, this allows spirits to be summoned and cast away. Tiea hold no fighting or defense capabilities, and is altogether, harmless
Roiyat - the excess use of the Tiea, which results in the loss of mind, bodily functions or burns across the body. Roiyat is incredibly easy to avoid, but using to much power multiple times can cause symptoms
Kuyi - another word for the spirits that pass through the Kovit into Marums Night Heavens
A/N - I pondered posting this all together, but I have almost 30 pages of this. I have maps and clothing and a complicated history, obvious I had a lot of fun with this!
