Unexpected

IX

River's POV:

Sloane, my ex, showed up at the museum, pulling me into an empty corner. She cried and hugged me,

"I'm sorry, i was wrong, i wish i chose you than him" she sobbed hard at my chest

"What?" I said calmly

She kissed me, i pushed her and left, i pulled Olivia and went outside. We were having a good time, why would she show up and just kiss me.

"What happened?" Olivia said looking at me all worried.

 "Nothing, let's just go home" I said.

Before we went inside the car, Sloane pulled my hand that cause me to face her

"Please, i'm sorry, River" she said

"Can you please stop? You ruined our day" Olivia rolled her eyes

"Who the hell are you? One of River's rebound?" she chuckled.

"What did you just say?" Olivia clenched her jaw

"Please leave her out of this" I said with a calming voice

"I will, if you come back to me" she smirked

Olivia looked left and right, without people seeing the scene, she slapped Sloane. Making Sloane fall off the ground.

 "Oh, so you want it this way?" Sloane grinned at Olivia

Sloane almost gave Olivia a slap, but i stopped her.

"Don't, you can hurt me, but not her" gazing at her.

"I remember you, you were the girl i bumped into earlier" Sloane said.

"You were so kind back there, what happened?" She gave a little grin

"You're getting in my nerves" Olivia closed her fist, ready to punch Sloane.

"Let's just go" I said coldly making Olivia look at me.

Entering the car, Sloane just looked at us while driving away. I sat quietly, not doing anything, just wandering the streets. Olivia stopped at my house, but she held my hand before i go outside of the car.

"I'm sorry" saying it with a whispering voice

"That's nothing, I just don't want you to be in trouble" I said, smiling at her.

"Who is she, anyway?" she asked me

"She's Sloane, my ex girlfriend" i said looking down

"Oh" she replied coldly.

We got out of the car, still, Olivia hasn't said any word. I began to worry because she's not like this.

"I have to go, River. I had a good time" She put a little smile on her face

She started to drove off, leaving me in front of the door. I wanted to ask her what happened but she left.
