133. My Boy

"So you've brought our Kookie home? That's so kind of you Y/N it's lovely to meet you!" His mum smiles but you feel on edge; surely you'll not be staying here and lying to them too? Does Jungkook not want to tell them the truth?

"I... erm, yes, I thought he better come and visit you since it's been, well too long..." you smile shyly but can't help but feel out of place; you'd give anything for Jungkook to reach out to you, to grab your hand but he doesn't, he stays rigid in his place at the side of you staring at his parents.

"I'm so glad dear, he hasn't been home in so long" his mum nods moving closer to her son.

"I... I erh, I need to call my sister, will you all excuse me" you bow respectfully and shift back not knowing where to go or what to do and as you reach for the front door that you'd just entered you realised what a bad idea it would be to get caught standing outside Jungkook's parents house, but you couldn't breathe and you need to just escape a minute.

"Is everything okay?" Jungkook asks quietly but still doesn't make a move to come closer to you; when you turn around and glance at him you just nod hoping he won't see your sad eyes.

"I need to just talk to Jennie..."

"Why don't you go out on the back dear it's quieter, more private" his dad smiles happily making you feel more at ease.

"Yes, thank you, you're very kind" you smile as he shows you the way outside and once you step out onto the back yard of the house, you feel like you can breathe again, just.

You lean back onto the brick wall and take in deep breaths, willing yourself not to get upset!

"Jungkook?" His mum calls out to him as he's staring towards the back door out to where you'd gone.

"Huh?" He's wringing his fingers together shyly and he can feel his heart speeding up.

"Is everything okay? Why did you have an assistant bring you home?"

"She's..."

"She's very young isn't she really, for an assistant? She's almost the same age as you guys isn't she?" His mum stares at him confused as to why he looks like he's seen a ghost.

"I need to go and talk to her..." Jungkook says totally ignoring anything his mum has just said.

"She's calling someone you can't interrupt if..."  his dad splutters.

"Jungkook!"

"She's not calling anyone" Jungkook whispers ignoring both attempts to get his attention, moving past his mum and then his dad out to you.

You suck in a breath as you hear the door from the house creak and you snap your head off the wall to look, finding Jungkook staring at you with wide eyes; "Y/N?" He stops still in his tracks as he closes the door and moves slowly towards you, "baby..."

You don't say anything, you can't for fear your voice will just shatter and give everything away but when Jungkook walks right up to you and pulls you into a hug, instead of shoving him away you welcome his embrace and drop your head to his chest and let him wrap you up tight, dropping his lips to your hair and softly kissing you; "don't run away from me when you're sad... what's wrong, I'm sorry, I... I know you're mad with me and I..."

"No Kook, I'm not mad..." you whisper shifting a little so you can look up at him, "... I just, I don't know, I didn't think we was going to lie to your parents after, after my parents kinda worked it out and your brother knows and my sister and... it's okay though... I... I understand if you don't want to tell them but, I, it still scares me, the lies and..."
