Episode 12

Adah's pov:

A new week has begun with some very heavy rain, the weather man said it'll be raining for some days. I made it to the bus stop clean and dry, I noticed people was looking at me or pointing at me. Have I got into trouble or something?! "How odd?" I said before entering the bus.

At the office I was greeted by Ji-na and Jaehyun "Good morning, what's up?" I said with a smile "Um....Jaehyun kinda did something" Ji-na said nervously "Like what?" I questioned "I accidentally posted on social media that you were the actual artist of the comic" Jaehyun confessed.

"No wonder the people gave me weird looks while I was on yhe way to work" I said "I'm sorry, I really wanted everyone know how an amazing person you are" Jaehyun apologised "It's ok besides we have a lot to do" I told him.

"Your right, but we're still having lunch!" Ji-na then left with Jaehyun, my phone then rang and it was an unknown number. "Hello" I answered "Adah is that you!" I heard my mother's voice "What do you want from me?" I asked coldly.

"I just want you to come home" Mom said "I'm already home" I said "Look I know what I did in the past was wrong and I'm sincerely sorry for everything!" Mom said "You think 'sorry' can fix anything, mother you were someone who I wanted to impress as a kid but now I realise that you just wanted to show off in front of your friends" I said.

"I know but-" I cutt her off "Mom I'm busy at the moment, goodbye!" I hanged up. I just couldn't stand the way she faked her apology, she just as I remembered. Lunch time came around and I was starving, Ji-na, Jaehyun and I decided to get some burgers at this cool restaurant.

After we got our food we sat at a table in the corner "This is what I call a jumbo burger" Ji-na said "I have to agree with you sis" I winked "I didn't expect to see Adah here" I looked up to see Grandma Sung and HaJoon's mother mrs. Sung "Hey Grandma and Auntie, what brings you guys here?" Ji-na asked.

"It's obvious we came here to have the best burger in Seoul" Mrs. Sung said "Adah, how are you?" Grandma Sung asked "I'm fine, Grandma Sung" I flashed her a smile "Glad to hear, I saw you became a comic icon" Mrs. Sung said "Yeah, she deserves to be known for her work. Most of her art are done by hand" Jaehyun said.

"Eomma! Grandma, I made it!" Na-ri said breathlessly "Did you run from campus till here?" Mrs. Sung asked her daughter "Yeah, I kinda made it out of class a little late" Na-ri said "Hey Adah or should I say the comic icon" Na-ri teased me "Like everyone at my college has your comic including me because I love it!" Na-ri added.

"I'm like the most luckiest kid to be sitting next to you right now" Na-ri hugged me "Let's get our burgers! I'm starving" Grandma Sung said "Yep, I'm hungry as well and I'll take the chicken burger with coke" Na-ri told her mother.

Mrs. Sung then came back with the burgers "Now let's eat!" Na-ri said happily before digging into her food "Hey, did HaJoon's told you anything about his sudden business trip Ji-na?" Mrs. Sung asked "He did, it was supposed to be Byun-woo business trip but his son got seriously ill" Ji-na said making me clueless, who's Byun-woo?.

"That brat! I bet that two-faced b!tch must've influence him not to go!" Grandma Sung said angrily "You know how it gets when you mention his wife Grandma, the last time he almost beat his own mother" Ji-na said "I really wanted to see my great grandson!" Grandma Sung said.

"Let's not focus on that now Grandmother, we have other things to focus on" Na-ri winked "I got you" Mrs. Sung said. Why are they behaving so weirdly? Like if their hiding something from me.
