Kuroo and Kenma had no luck persuading Akaashi to leave his room.

Two days now, and he hadn't even eaten.

Kenma was standing outside the door, anxiously waiting for Akaashi to emerge.

"'Kaashi?" He murmured, leaning against the door.

No reply.

"Are you dead?" Kenma asked curiously.

He heard the bedsheets shuffle behind the door.

Kenma sighed, pressing his forehead against the door.

"You can't stay in there forever," he claimed. "Come out please." His voice cracked, making him mentally slap himself. "I need a hug," he mumbled.

He perked up at the sound of light footsteps and backed away when the handle creaked. The door was open.

Akaashi was staring at the floor.

"I'm coming in," Kenma declared, stepping into the room.

Akaashi turned to face Kenma.

The gamer felt his heart sink at the sight.

Akaashi's eyes were red and had dark circles. His lips looked dry. He was hugging his elbows, his grip tight since his knuckles were almost white.

"Akaashi?" Kenma asked softly, walking towards his boyfriend. The latter lifted his head, offering a smile.

"I'm sorry," he apologized.

Tears had suddenly begun to stream down his face, but the smile remained.

"What?" Kenma whispered.

"I'm sorry for scaring Bokuto away," he said. Kenma gasped.

"How could you have scared him away? It's not your fault, dummy." Kenma cupped Akaashi's face but the man pulled away.

"I'm sorry for being so weak," he continued.

"How could you be weak?" Kenma inquired, grabbing Akaashi's hands.

"I let them—" Akaashi started.

"You dumbass," a voice spoke from behind, making Kenma glance over Akaashi's shoulder.

Kuroo was leaning against the door frame, his arms crossed.

"Kuro?" Akaashi asked, his voice soft.

"It's Bokuto's fucking fault," he muttered. "He's so dense."

"Kuro," Kenma murmured. "You don't mean that-"

"If he wasn't so thick he wouldn't assume he ruined things and he wouldn't have run away!" Kuroo snapped.

Kenma frowned.

His phone suddenly buzzed, making the multi-color-haired boy glance down.

"Bokuto's at Miya's home," Kenma murmured, raising his brows.

"What?" Akaashi asked.

Kuroo dropped his arms and spun around.

"Kuro! Where are you going?!" Kenma called out, chasing after his boyfriend.

Kuroo stomped down the stairs and grabbed his jacket off the hanger.

"Don't do something rash!" Kenma ordered, grabbing his own coat so he could follow.

Kuroo tugged on his shoes, faltering only for a moment.

"I'm heading over to Atsumu's," he declared, glancing back at Kenma.
