Chapter 28 ~ All Smiles

~Emma~

"I had a feeling you were here" I said whiping away my tears

"Please don't cry Em" he said walking up to me, but I turn away

"I don't get it" he says, I stop

"What do you mean?" I ask

"I don't get why you won't believe me" he said looking down

"It's hard Hayes, your like everyone else. You care more about your reputation than the girl you 'care about'" I say

"I don't just care about you, Emma" he said walking up to me. I don't move, I just let him

"I love you..." he said, I shake my head

"Hayes, I think you need to go... get some sleep" I said looking down at his chest, he sighs

"Fine" he says. He turns around and I look down as he leaves

I walk back upstairs, get into bed and go back to sleep and can not stop thinking about Hayes. He said he loves me? Were only 14, he doesn't know for sure...

~Monday Morning~

I absolutely did not want to go to school today, I can't see Hayes. I love him... but it's just gonna be, awkward

I get out of bed and go and throw on navy blue jeans, a white and blue tank top, and a navy blue sweater with some uggs. I gather my hair and put it into a braide

~School~

*Jeez Emma, Quit Skippin, Like Dayum*

I walk to my locker and open it up, there's a tap on my shoulder. I turn around, but it's not Hayes. It's Shawn

"Hey Emm" he said giving me a hug

"Hey" I smiled

"Listen, you need to go out to the court yard, now" he said taking my hand outside

I don't know why outside, I'm gonna be late. Again

The weird thing is, nothing is happening like it did in the dream...

We got to the court yard and almost everybody is out here, what's going on?

"Shawn, whats-" I cut myself off when I see Hayes standing on a picnic table infront of us

"Sorry, everybody. But I need to say sonething" he said looking at me, I looked down

"Now, there's this girl, here" he started

"She doesn't believe me when I say, I'm in love with her" he says looking back at me

"I want, to call her mind, I want, to be able to hold her hand, I want, to kiss her everyday, I want, to call her mine, I need, Emma" he said, the crowd awes and I blush

"She doesn't belive, that I want to tell the world," he grabs my hand and pulls me up there with him "that she's mine"

I smile, and he grabs my hand

"Do you believe me now?" He asked smiling, I look into his beautiful blue eyes

"Yes" I smile, he pulls me into a hug and sways back and forth

"I'm the happiest guy alive" he laughs, I shake my head and connect my lips with his

"Were in school aren't we" I say pulling away, me purses his lips

"Yeah, I think we are" he says, I laugh and luckly, I got no dirty looks, I have no haters right now. Now all I need, is him by my side, forever and always
