a few weeks past of aurora going to blackwood's office, and he finally chalked the nightmares up to "stress". aurora knew that was not the case, and nick seemed to grow more worried every night he was awoken by her tossing and turning in her sleep. of course the girls and guys were not supposed to sleep in the same quarters as each other, but aurora snuck nick in almost every night.

the annual feasts of feasts was approaching, causing almost every witch at the academy more stress than ever. aurora let her anxious thoughts wander as she was lying in her bed and couldn't even think of sleeping. she pulled the dark satin sheets off of her and let her bare feet meet the cold ground. her tightly fit white lace nightgown followed behind her as she tiptoed out of the girls quarters. aurora didn't know what she was doing she just needed to clear her head. she started walking down the halls of the academy with a small candle illuminating only a few feet in front of her. as she was about to turn a corner the candle suddenly went out. she hadn't blown it out her self. she froze. she could hear her heart beating out of her chest like it was going to explode. she felt the cold drops of sweat fall down the back of her neck.
"come to me daughter" a raspy, low voice whispered in her ear. she whipped her head around almost instantly but nothing was there.
"who-who's there" aurora stuttered, her bright green eyes scanned the room for any sign of movement.
"i'll give you a hint" the malicious voice said, this time coming from behind aurora. aurora whipped her head around again, but nothing was there.
"L" the voice was circling her now
"u" but before anything else happened, she was pulled into a closet by a strong pair of arms. frightened, aurora started screaming, but her mouth was covered by the hand and a candle was brought to her kidnappers face.
"rora it's just me" nick said searching aurora's eyes.
"i'm sorry you just scared me" aurora laughed, relieved. she could not tell him about what just happened, at least for now.
"what where you doing in the halls?" nick questioned, moving a lock of hair behind aurora's ear.
"just needed to clear my head" she replied, trying to not sound shaken up.
"and you?" she asked.
"i was going to your room but you weren't there." he said, but started playing with the front lace of her nightgown.
"when do you ever not look hot as hell" he smirked and aurora's eyes flashed with passion. there was a pause but she finally smashed her lips against his. he  grabbed both of her legs picking her up and wrapping her around his waist. he pushed her back against the wall as he stated kissing down her neck and unlaced her nightgown. it fell to the ground as she unbuttoned his shirt.
"oh my lucifer nicky" she said in between kisses. a few minutes passed of the two lovers engrossed with
each other until they heard a crash right outside their love shack. both of them pulled back and nick pulled aurora closer to him when he saw her petrified face. he slowly creaked open the door open and aurora peaked her face out to see a shadowy figure standing far down the hall. nick quickly covered her mouth before she screamed , but the creature turned around to face them.

standing there, the outline of bull horns and what looked like hooves was staring back at the couple.
"is that" nick started to say
"lucifer" aurora finished his sentence in a petrified whisper. the bull like creature then started walking slowly towards them and they hurried to their feet and started to run. aurora looked back and saw the creature was now picking up it's pace, tauntingly whispering
"aurora, aurora"
"i am your dark lord you must stop" he screeched causing aurora to stop dead in her tracks, along with nick. he approached a pale aurora and harshly lifted her chin so she could meet his eyes.
"i just wanted to pay a visit aurora, i didn't get to see you at your dark baptism" lucifer evilly said, aurora could smell the stench coming from his breath.
"just know things are coming your way soon. good things. but if you don't accept these gifts then there will be heaven to pay. understood?" lucifer tightened his grip on her chin and finally released it when she finally muttered a timid "understood" "see you in your dreams aurora" he whispered into her ear.
and just as fast as he came, satan disappeared in a hell fire. aurora fell to the ground and rubbed her sore chin. nick rushed over and picked up aurora in his arms.
"are you ok??" nick worriedly asked, examining aurora's chin for any harm.
"i'm fine nick, i'm just confused. why me? and he called me daughter!"
"aurora i'm sure it's nothing. the dark lord visits every witch ever, and you are a daughter of night, i'm sure that's just what he calls everyone" nick reassured her, but the pit in her stomach was still there. she couldn't shake this weird feeling. "and what gifts?" aurora was still analyzing the situation. "i think when the time comes we will know. come on tomorrow is the day that the queen for feasts of feasts is chosen. let's get you to bed." he carried the dark haired girl all the way back to the girls quarters, and placed her in the satin sheets.
