"Well, that was embarrassing," Jo say hopping up on the counter.
"Yeah well, it will all work out," I say frying more bacon.
"But...he is so hot in person," Jo says.
"Jo, you already knew what he looked like from stalking his facebook," I say smiling.
"Yeah but I also called him eyecandy but he is like eyecake or something," she says.
"Yeah well, go set the table please and thanks," I say.
"Finneee," Jo calls walking off.
Rye walks in seconds later.
"Hey Annie," he says smiling.
"Hey Rye," I say adding butter to the pancakes.
"So, ya need any help?" He asks.
"No... But Johanna is in the dining room, setting the table, she may need help," I say smirking to myself.
"Mmmkk," he says walking over to that area.
Once I'm done, I turn off the stove and place the food in the warm oven to keep it warm until we eat.
"Finny, can you please help Rye wash his hands?" I call.
Rye walks in seconds later.
"Oh it's ok Annie, I don't need help washing my hands," he says laughing.
"Not you! Rye the second," I say laughing and throwing a dish towel at his head.
"Oh him it's always about him," Rye whines.
"Grow up Rye your like 26 or something like that," I say rolling my eyes.
"24," he corrects.
"Whateverrrr," I say.
"Hey I don't look 26 now do I?" He asks striking a pose.
"You could pass as 32," I say jokingly.
"Yeah, yeah," he says throwing the dish towel back.
I cut off the stove and grab some plates and hand them to Rye.
I grab the pancakes and call for Johanna to get some glasses with milk and orange juice.
She walks into the kitchen and I find Rye staring at her.
I just smirk and walk on.
I set everything down and walk back into the kitchen.
"She's single," I whisper in his ear when I walk by.
"Um---mm I donttttt know what your talking abou..t," He stutters.
"Sure ya don't," I say sarcastically and walk back over to the kitchen.
"WASH UP ITS TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" I scream.
"Ok!" Rye screams
