Fourteen.

"Everyday is a chance to be better," Lilcolm spoke slowly, emphasizing each words to Hezia— in the movie that I'm currently watching.

I just want to lay all day on my bed and entertain myself using my gadgets. I ended up researching for a movie recommendations and I found myself watching, not minding my unfinished tasks.

I thought that would happen because for the whole morning, I was just browsing through my phone and watching a movie— and no one interrupted me. Sa hapon, I'm planning to watch this anime entitled 'Welcome to the Demon School, Iruma-kun!' but when the clock strikes one, my phone suddenly beeped because of a message notification.

My lips parted. I forgot the things that we have discussed yesterday!

From: Zavion

I'm on my way.

To: Zavion

Weh???? Hindi pa ako ready. Saglit, saglit, saglit.

Nasapo ko ang aking noo. I slap myself repeatedly as a punishment for my stupidity.

To: Zavion

Huhu, pasensya. T^T

I got ready after sending him that message. I quickly saw her reading a news paper on the balcony, a cup of coffee is on the mini-table. My lips shivered as she stared at me, her eyebrows arched.

"Ma..." I called her softly.

I can't remember the last time I went to my parents' room. I was forbidden by myself to go here because of the fact that I hate them. They are supposed to be the ones who are going to protect me from harm, but guess what? They are the ones who are causing me harm.

"What? Did you run out of money?"

I quickly shook my head. "No, I was just going to inform you about Zavion's arrival," I answered, pursing my lips.

"Huh?" She put down the news paper on the table.

"He's going to help me with my assignments."

"You two are close?"

I breathe heavily. "We're friends."

"That's why you made friends with him? So you could make him do your assignments? Such a big disappointment," she shook her head repeatedly.
