"Stark, are you sure this is a good idea?" Loki questioned as he trailed behind Genevieve who was aggressively stomping toward her bedroom to grab a jacket and shoes. She slipped them on and before she could make her way over to the elevator, Loki stepped in front of the doorway, blocking her exit.

"Loki, what are you doing? Move out of my way," Genevieve growled.

"You're angry, and people do a lot of stupid things when they're angry. I don't think that you should be leaving when you're this upset," he advised, taking in her ever growing state of acrimony.

"Loki, I understand that you're trying to help me. But I'm very upset right now and if I don't get out of this damn tower I think I'm going to murder someone," she replied, looking up at him, eyes as sharp as daggers that were ready to be thrown.

"I get that, but are you sure you—"

"Yes, I'm very sure. Now move," Genevieve curtly cut him off, her eyes never leaving his.

He put his hands up in surrender and slowly made a pathway for Genevieve. They both slipped into the elevator and Genevieve forcefully slammed her fist into the ground floor button.

"Seriously? We're just going to walk out of here?" he stared at her with a strange look.

Genevieve, still facing the front two doors of the elevator, replied saying, "They've never had to worry about me leaving. Plus I've been stuck here for five years so I doubt they have any assumptions that I would leave."

      Loki only nodded.

Getting out of the tower was, as Genevieve had presumed, pretty easy. The two began walking around the streets of New York City, Loki adorned in a baseball cap to hide himself.

Genevieve stared at him, "Really? A baseball cap?"

"What? No one seems to notice," he retorted. Genevieve said nothing as they both continued to wander around, stepping in stride the entire time.

"So," Loki began after a few minutes of silence between the two, "what did you mean when you said that you've been trapped in that tower for five years?" It was obvious that Genevieve had calmed down, her agitation levels had dropped and she felt as if the energy that was surging through her only ten minutes prior had nearly evaporated. However, it began to spike once again as soon as Loki asked that question and it took almost all of her concentration to keep it controlled.
