As he reached her, he grabbed her hands tightly not letting her go; "I really did it to protect you, Zariah. I love you. I do." She just shook her head "You don't, because if you did, you wouldn't have left me alone for so long." She whispered as she rose her head to look at him sadly with tears. She punched his chest in anger multiple times, he allowed it. He knew she was hurting badly.
Loki couldn't help but smile at the beauty in front of him as he reached up with both his hands cupping her face in them, wiping the tears away "I will do everything I can to make this up to you. When you weren't with Thor, I was worried, he said you were gone and they didn't know where, you weren't in Alfheim with your father either. I was so afraid that...." Zariah took deep breaths, she knew she couldn't stay angry as much as she tried, she cried more for the fact he was right there with her. Alive. Which was more than what she could ever as for. "You promised me that we wouldn't be apart..." she said softly leaning into his forehead more. He chuckled a bit at her "I know, I had to do what I must to keep you safe... even if it meant being away from me." He explained as he kissed her forehead.
In that moment she felt whole again, as if the piece that was ripped from her heart, came back and was stitched back together. She couldn't help but to cry more, she tried to be angry at him but it was hard. "I can't forgive you... not yet... But I.... I did miss you.... So much Loki." She whispers. He couldn't help but smile at her as he pulled her into an embrace, it's been forever since he held her and he wouldn't let her go this time. "I know, love. I missed you as well.
