Chapter 5- Click Clack

Start from the beginning

"Let's go," she said in a low whisper looking down at the two.

"No," Lina said, comftorable in Lisa's warm grasp.

"Let's go," Eden said again picking up the bag she had brought with them the night before that was placed in the corner, Chris slowly looked around.

Of course Eden didn't notice this but the little boy noticed how on edge his older sister was. Sympathetic with her, he slowly got up and shook Lina giving her a reassuring look.

Now this Eden did notice, she thought to herself  "a little 8 year old boy should not try to comfort another child." It made her almost want to cry at how fast her brother was maturing.

Lina slowly got up, a blanket wrapped around her little body.

Eden slowly picked her up and grabbed Chris's hand, who was holding the small back pack she had handed to him.

Which turned out to be useless since none of them wanted to change.

Eden looked at Lisa who said she could give them a ride.

"No were fine go back to sleep I'll see you later," Eden said kissing her on the cheek in a way of saying thank you, not wanting to be anymore of a burden.

Lisa slowly went back to sleep.

The three went down the stairs, no one said anything but there was an understanding exchanging of words in the air of knowing where they we're going back to.

Eden said bye to Lisa's mom who looked at the kids with pity then returned to Edens eyes with sympathy before waving to the three a goodbye.

They then made their way to the front door, Eden taking a deep breath before opening it.

They were instantly met with a cold breeze.

The warmth of the house leaving them.

The sky was still dark with glints of blue, the air chilled, everything seemed so sad, even the atmosphere.

But even though she wanted to run back in the house and be a selfish kid and not care about the well being of the little ones and say "It's your problem not mine." She couldn't, the 17 year old girl who was forced to grow up way to soon began her walk "home".

School

After Eden arrived to her middle class home. She went inside and led the kids to bed so they could both sleep off their slightly restless night, ignoring both of her parents who acted as if nothing happened yesterday. Her father kept trying to talk to her but she would walk away whenever he would try it be in a five feet proximity close to her.

Eden also decided to ignore her mom who acted the most like nothing happened.

It annoyed the girl.

After quickly taking a shower and pulling on a Nike hoodie and black sweatpants Eden was on her way to school.

Today she decided to walk, she surprisingly had time for a 15 minute walk to her jail cell that was weirdly comforting, most people call what she was talking about school.
