Hinata managed to block the attack and ended up falling ontop of Tanaka, The score was now 11-11

“Damn..Suga-san wasn't wrong when he said they have new interesting members.” Y/n said watching Hinata get praised by his upper-class men

The Orange haired male turned to face him, he smiled and nodded at him which Hinata took as a compliment and grins widely

“You better not go all softy over your old members, remember we need to win this in order to go-”

“Yeah yeah, go to the nationals.. Seriously, when will you stop nagging?” Y/n said sighing heavily as he faced the already fuming Shirabu

“I'm just reminding you.” Shirabu said while gritting his teeth

The ball was now soaring up again, Reon was the one who's attacking right now and Y/n saw how hinata ran from the middle towards the net and jumped

“He's building momentum so he could jump higher, that's genius for someone with his height.” Y/n muttered as he watches their movements like a hawk

Unfortunately, Hinata jumped a bit closer and ended up with a 'Touch Net' since his face collided with the net

“Nevermind, I take back what I just said.” Y/n said coughing, pretending not to see what just happened

Y/n couldn't help but to feel as if he's being watched, the hair on the back of his neck keeps standing up, he kept looking at the stands and sees his sister and shoto and nobody else besides the students who's cheering

'I'm getting paranoid for no reason..'

He closed his eyes and shakes his head trying to calm himself, until his eyes snaps open when he felt like vomiting due to his anxiousness

'Oh for fuck sake, why now..'

He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, he took deep breaths trying to calm down his nerves and it worked

He felt a sudden gush of wind went pass him.

Hinata just scored.

'Focus, damnit!'

Kageyama was the one who's serving this time, he was already looking at the [H/c] haired male with pure determination

He did a jumpserve and was received by Shiratorizawa's libero sending it towards Tendo

“Nice receive..” Y/n said in the most unenthusiastic way

'Gosh this is gonna be a loooong game..'

The game goes on, both schools were back and forth with the scores, Karasuno is fighting so hard to keep up with Shiratorizawa's score

Y/n on the other hand was just receiving and blocking, he's still not in the mood for attacking since he just accidentally used his left instead of his right earlier due to his nervousness

“Watching Hinata jumps like that makes me tired..” Y/n said sweat dropping at how Hinata jumps nonstop

“Right, Right!” Tendo called out and Y/n stood beside him ready to jump and block

They saw Tanaka spikes the ball and they both simultaneously jumped to block it but it went to the side earning Karasuno a point

“Sorry.” Y/n said punching himself mentally for not blocking properly

Score was now 17-17 and karasuno is still fighting, Hinata constantly jumping like some kangaroo on drugs

“He's jumping like the floor is a fucking lava.” Y/n said watching Hinata

“Seriously Y/n, focus on the game and not at how he jumps.” Ushijima said

“I'm trying.” Y/n whispered as he focused his attention back on the ball

Reon jumped and slammed the ball but ended up getting blocked by Hinata and Kageyama and received by Tanaka

Kageyama tossed the ball towards Tanaka who slammed it but got blocked by Tendo earning a free ball and a one touch

Shirabu tossed the ball towards Ushijima who slammed the ball and got blocked by surprise surprise, Hinata and Tanaka.

“Gosh he's so persistent and it's annoying.” Y/n said feeling completely annoyed

“Call down before you end up punching him.” Shirabu snapped

“I already almost did.” Y/n said which Shirabu sighs and focused on the game instead

The match kept going back and forth, attacking, blocking, jumping and nonstop yelling

Y/n watched Hinata ran and on the opposite direction to where he thought he'd go to, it was obviously a bait, how'd he know it was a bait? Simple.

Kageyama was already looking at Tanaka's direction and not Hinata.

As a former setter, he knows where and when will a setter toss a ball and who will they toss it to.

But not all predictions are right, some setters can be really tricky sometimes.

Tanaka jumped and slammed the ball earning them a point and finally breaking through the endless back and forth battle

Score was now 18-19 with karasuno leading this time, the gymnasium roars with loud cheers especially the area where Karasuno's students stands.

“HELL YEAH!” Tanaka screamed once he landed

“What's happening to you L/n? You're not focused on the game.” Reon asked

“I am focused!” Y/n yelled out in frustration but soon regretted it, Reon gave him a smile

“Take deep breaths, it's okay to be nervous.” Reon said patting him on the shoulder

Y/N didn't responded and just stare at their opponents who's already attacking

Once the ball made it to the net, Shirabu tossed towards Reon who slammed the ball and went pass through Karasuno's block earning them a point

The match went on and Hinata scored, the score was now 20-20, everything was so intense until the sound of speaker going off echoes throughout the entire gymnasium

And what Y/n head afterwards caused him to go pale and turned to look at the top part of the gymnasium.

“Finally got the mic working... ohoho? Are my eyes deceiving me? WHY LOOK AT THAT, I REMEMBER THAT FACE, THAT HAIR OH THIS WILL BE AN INTERESTING MATCH TO WATCH, THE PRODIGY IS HERE!”
