"Yaoyorozu, you're amazing. It doesn't matter if you're a bit lower than everyone else. Because you're amazing no matter what you do." Todoroki said.

Yaoyorozu spun her head to the hole in the wall. Did he hear my conversation with Hagakure? Please no. "How much did you hear?" She asked, standing up and brushing off her legs.

"Not much. By the way, I captured Tokoyami. They should be announcing our victory soon enough." The hybrid said, pointing his thumb behind him. "Enough of that crap."

Shoto walked over and wrapped Momo with his arms. "You're amazing. I don't care what anyone else does because you're still the same amazing girl." That comment hit harder than Todoroki thought. What Yaoyorozu was going to say turned into incoherent mutters.

The reason why he said that... maybe it was because she just needed some uplifting. Or maybe because he felt the same way. He honestly didn't know because he was horrible with expressing feelings.

"Team Todoroki and Yaoyorozu have won." The Intercom boomed robotically. "Please exit the training field and return to the viewing stage."

The hybrid let go of her and walked towards Hagakure. He began to untie her knots and dropped the ropes to the floor. "Maybe..." Yaoyorozu muttered under her breath. "Maybe."

Momo instantly remembered Tokoyami and ran to the ice and hopped through the hole, going to untie the black beast.

-

Yaoyorozu wasn't really paying attention after her fight. She was too distracted by what Hagakure said to her. And what Todoroki said to her. All she knew was that she felt... different.

She looked up at the huge screen. Wait... why am I here? Oh right. The rest of the fights. Momo let out a sigh. "Momo, what's wrong?" Jirou asked, sitting next to the brunette. "I can see it in your eyes that something is wrong."

Yaoyorozu raised her head. "I don't know. A lot has been on my mind." She murmured, turning her gaze to Jirou. "I mean... I don't think much of myself. You know that. And to hear something from someone that is so much greater than you... I don't know." Momo said, looking up and letting out another sigh.

"You're talking about Todoroki, aren't you? You shouldn't feel that you're worse than him." Jirou reassured, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. She smiled just slightly.

Jirou knew that Yaoyorozu could be a bit stubborn when it came to this. In fact, whenever someone talked about this she would completely shut down. But for some reason, she wasn't.

Momo lowered her head. "I understand that completely. I just feel I can't even begin to compare to Todoroki." She said, putting on a smile. "He's just so amazing."

Jirou could see the pain in her eyes. "Momo, trust me. You're A-MA-ZING." She said, pronouncing each part. Yaoyorozu chuckled slightly. Its always a good thing when she laughs.

"Thanks Jirou. Good luck on your match." She said.

Jirou laughed. "I already did mine."

"Oh."

-

"I don't feel... crap." Yaoyorozu muttered. Who knew feelings were so hard? She should've known better. She shouldn't have feelings; especially when she was trying to become a hero.

Momo poured a cup of tea and took a deep breath, just to inhale the nice smell of the tea. This is really good.

"Did you make tea?"

The brunette would've normally jumped, but the scent just... calmed her, I guess. "Yes. Would you like some?" She turned around to face Todoroki. "Oh hi, Todoroki!"

"Hi. Yes, I would like some tea." Todoroki politely answered, sitting on the kitchen counter stool. Yaoyorozu smiled and turned to the oven, putting more tea leaves in the kettle.

The hybrid's eyes widened as he saw the kettle. Nope. I can get through this. Todoroki reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

"Todoroki, do you like tea?" The brunette asked, turning her head just slightly so that she could see him in her peripheral vision.

Shoto raised his head. "I guess." He shrugged. Yaoyorozu lifted the kettle off the stove and set it down in front of Todoroki. His face fell as he locked his gaze on the kettle. No. Stop it, Shoto. Don't be like this.

"Todoroki, are you okay? You look like you'd seen a ghost." The brunette said, setting down a cup next to the kettle, picking up the kettle gently with her hand.

The hybrid averted his gaze. "Yes, I'm okay." He responded. Yaoyorozu chuckled and placed the cup of tea in front of him, setting the kettle next to it.

Todoroki, don't be a baby. It's just a kettle. It's just a kettle. Fuck it. "Yaoyorozu, could you please move the kettle to the side, please?" He asked politely, his oddly specific request scaring her a bit.

"Sure Todoroki. Do you mind me asking why?" Momo asked, picking up the tea kettle and placing it near the sink. She turned her head and glanced back at Todoroki.

"It's a bit personal." Shoto responded, picking up the cup with both hands. The warmth seemed to calm him slightly, but Momo could see that something was still wrong.

Yaoyorozu set her cup across from his and rested her arms on the counter. "Todoroki, tell me what's wrong. I'm your friend."

That word again. Friend. "Okay... uh... You know this scar on my eye." Todoroki pointed to the left side of his face, specifically pointing to the red patch around his eye. Momo nodded. "My mom was mentally unstable because of my father. She was using a kettle to make tea and told her friend that my left side was unsightly. My mother poured the kettle on me once she saw me standing in the doorway, giving me this scar. She's now in a mental hospital because of my father."

Yaoyorozu's face fell. She immediately ran around the counter and crashed into Todoroki, wrapping her arms around him and letting a tear fall. "I'm... so sorry, Todoroki."

Shoto rested his hands on her lower back and felt his eyes water. "I'm fine. I promise." He assured, pulling her closer.

"I don't believe that for a second. Don't act around me. Let it out." Momo quietly whispered, clutching onto his shirt.

"I... can't..."
