(I've never visited Cuba but one day I'd like to travel all over the Caribbean)

Why learn Slang?
This will give you an advantage over other tourists visiting the specific country. Slang is included in everyday conversation and is necessary if you want to speak like a native.

*Be careful, in other countries, slang means different things so it's best you don't say some of these in other countries

Yuma - a foreigner, probably a white one

El gao/gabeto - home

Está volado - that's amazing

Que bola? - whats up?

Botero - a taxi man/woman

Me resbala - I don't care

Guarachar - to party

Paladar - a place to eat and drink/a restaurant

La pincha - the place you work (tengo que ir a la pincha/I need to work)

Que Fula! - like "How ugly/disgusting/bad/etc"

Pregunta del dia: Que comida latinoamericana es tu favorito?

Mi respuesta: Me encanta pupusas con curtido y plátanos fritos :) (de El Salvador).
