What’s with the light?
Heaven?
Am I in heaven?
I slowly turned to face the glowing area. I heard a crowd around me.
Angels?
Are angels here to greet me as I enter eternal paradise? But, from what I’ve heard, they’re supposed to be singing hymns and soothing songs, crooning and calming every ear who could hear them. Instead, they were kinda shouting, yelling. I looked around me and I saw a multitude waving at me to move away.
Wait.
Move away from what?
Suddenly, a loud and deep howl echoed in front of me. It came from the light. I’m sure that wasn’t God would sound like. It was creepy and roaring. It became louder and louder as I saw the bright light increasing in front of me. It came closer and closer.
Wait.
This was no heaven!
The crowd wasn’t angels!
They were real people who were shouting for me to move aside.
The light!
It was nothing from heaven either!
It was the headlights of a moving and honking vehicle!
Oh my God!
It’s moving towards me!
A car was going to hit me!
Fuck!
It’s only a matter of seconds before it hits me and I’ll be a dead meat in an instant!
The crowd’s yells and cries boosted.
The lights came nearer and nearer.
There I was.
Standing in the middle of the street.
Impending to die via vehicular accident.
Even if I move from where I was and try to avoid the car, it’s already too late.
I closed my eyes as I embraced my approaching appointment with Death.
A single tear trickled down my face.
