The day of Priyamvada's and Hriday's marriage came. Everyone was up early and excited to plan, decorate and attend the wedding. Priyamvada was getting decked up by her maids and Anusuya.  Devasena also awoke, she checked on the decorations and mandap. She also checked on the Goddess temple that was sacred to Paurav Rajyan's especially to the Royal family. The bride and groom would firstly take the blessings of the Goddess in the temple then their elders. As a representative that God is first to bless, then family.

Siddharth had seen the preparations, he saw Devasena organise the decorations and check all that was going on for the wedding. Devasena and Siddharth were in the Goddess temple.

"Princess?" Siddharth questioned getting her attention. Devasena stood up from kneeling in front of the Goddess. She lay down the fruits for the Goddess, at her feet. "Yes Prince Siddharth." She replied without a proper emotion. "What is this devotion fiasco?" Siddharth asked, clearly trying to piece his sentence together. "Apparently a tradition in our family. The bride and groom would take blessings from the Goddess after their marriage!" Siddharth raised a brow. "I am not one for this religious blessing."

"Interesting, we should go, the marriage is to commence!" Siddharth stated starting to leave the temple. Devasena followed after him.

Priyamvada was brought in by her maids to the mandap. She looked beautiful.
