Lexa isn't so heartless after-all.

[UPDATE: 17/5/2020]

Season 2, Episode 9: Remember Me. And you'd think Lexa has no feelings. She HAS feelings. She actually empathized Clarke on Finn's death. The Grounders weren't happy with the way Finn died - they wanted it to be done the traditional way - however, Lexa felt how much pain Clarke was feeling. NOTE: Lexa's eyes were still as hard as stone.

When they brought Finn's body to Tondc, the Grounders didn't react very well when they see their people are walking alongside with Skaikru. Lexa had Gustus to kill the Grounder who went against her. (!!!!) Lexa listened to Clarke and stopped Gustus from killing that Grounder. (LEXA LISTENS TO CLARKE!!!)

Lexa allowed Clarke to finish the Grounders' tradition. Clarke set fire to Finn's body. That's the first time that Lexa heard Clarke spoke Tridageslang: Yu gonplei ste odon. I swear Lexa's eyes were saying "Wow, she knows my language. I misjudged this girl."

PLOT TWIST! Lexa opened up to Clarke. In which, we all know Lexa doesn't do that. She's as hard as a rock, closed herself off from everyone. (HINT: HER name was Costia.)

Lexa: Weakness.

Clarke: What is? Love?

Lexa: *nods head*

At this moment, the weakness was in Lexa. She opened up to Clarke about her past lover. She said Love was weakness, but at that moment, her eyes said something else when she looked at Clarke.

Lexa: Thank you, Marcus of the Sky People.

Lexa: Clarke, let us drink together. (Her eyes literally SOFTEN when she looked right at Clarke. And her crazy stares to Clarke drove me mad.)

Lexa: ... To those we've lost. And to those, we shall soon find. (She said that looking directly at Clarke. AGAIN. Was there a hidden meaning behind "to those we shall soon find?")

And then shit had to happen. Thanks to Gustus. I could've sworn, Lexa was torn to believing Clarke or not. Lexa became the Commander again. Hello, hard-core death eyes. Oh wait, another plot twist (clearly showing Lexa is hurt and that 10 seconds stare-off between Lexa and Clarke? Woah, there were so many things passing through their minds like it was telepathy):

Lexa to Clarke: Tell me something, Clarke. When you plunged the knife into the heart of the boy you loved, did you not wish it was mine?

Raven was blamed for the poisoning of Gustus. Clarke found something to prove that it wasn't Raven but of Gustus' doing - the drinking cup. He had every right to put the poison because he didn't trust Skaikru and it was for his people's own good and the fact that their Commander had suddenly gone soft.

When Clarke drank the vodka off the bottle, Lexa looked so scared for Clarke. It was so funny that I had to laugh. That's when we know...Lexa's wall had tumbled down. Lexa was fighting herself, between her rising emotions and trynna stay the hard-head Commander that her people look up to.

Season 2, Episode 10: Survival of The Fittest. This has got to be one of my favourite episodes! I call it the GODZILLA episode. This is THE episode. This is where Lexa starts giving the heart eyes to Clarke. AM I STILL DELUSIONAL?

Lexa: Taim yu jomp em op taim yu jomp ai op. (Attack her, and you attack me.)

*swooooooons* Lexa is starting to lose it! She's showing that she cares for Clarke, OPENLY. It's not only because they've established an alliance, but it's something more (agree with me?). Lexa even left Quint to be bait for the "Godzilla" (not only for an escape plan but because he tried to kill Clarke and Clarke couldn't kill him).

Attack of the Godzilla left Lexa wounded. Lexa wondered why Clarke didn't just leave her, but we all know that Clarke is for saving people - Clarke loves saving people, ever since Season 1.

As Clarke was tying up the wound on Lexa's shoulder.. The way Lexa looked at Clarke was as though she's afraid of her own emotions.
Lexa: You should've left me behind. Now two will die here instead of one.

Lexa: I've seen your strength. It's true. But now, you waver. You couldn't leave Quint, you couldn't leave me to die. That was weakness.

Clarke: I thought love was weakness.

Clarke: You wanna know why I saved you? Because I need you. You may be heartless Lexa, but at least you're smart. And THAT tiny hint of a smile from Lexa... Can't tell if it was amusement, or she was proud that she's being called smart.

AND, the moment just had to be ruined by that stupid Godzilla. You'd the Commander is all badass until she says "Don't be afraid Clarke. Death is not the end." OMG, Lexa was so scared, I can't. Then, Clarke had a brilliant idea, and this part really awed me, because Lexa didn't question at all! Instead, she trusted what Clarke was going to do.

After they escaped the Godzilla, they rested somewhere. Clarke was asleep while Lexa was on guard. I can't tell if she was watching Clarke asleep or if she's in deep thoughts.

"It's okay. You're safe."

asdfghjkl;qrwtiuopfhslk THAT LOOK LEXA HAD, SHE'S SO SOFT.

"How's your arm?" "Hurts."

Again, I really can't tell the emotions Lexa is showing. She's really playing the hardcore heartless bitch face really well. But I know deep down, her emotions are stirring.

"I was wrong about you Clarke" - I think my feelings are starting to grow on you.
"Your heart shows no sign of weakness" - I'm the weak one.

OKAY!!! So here, we learned that Lexa teaches Clarke and affects Clarke in some ways, vice versa. We know now that they are starting to build this very strong bond and understanding towards each other. Could there be more?
