7. Now as you can see because the 'Alpha lock' was on the colour did not spread anywhere and remained in the circle.

ALPHA LOCK is a very easy tool to use no matter what you're doing (Smudge edit, illustration etc.) you can use this !!
Okay let's move on to the next tool this one is called clipping tool
8. We go to a new layer and click on 'CLIPPING' which is right besides alpha lock.
