Chapter 6 - Teasing Her

Nang mapatingin naman siya sa direksyon ko ay bakas ang pagkainis sa mukha niya. What?! Is she mad because he saw my handsome face? Pati yung teacher niya ay parang kinikilig ng makita ako kaya dahil sa inis niya ay padabog niyang nilagay sa lamesa ang papel na hawak niya bago lumapit sa'kin.

"What are you doing here?! You're distracting my recitation!" She hissed, looking at me angrily.

I waved on her classmates at her back that made them shout louder."Well, I'm kinda bored so wi----"

"Ginagago mo ba ako, ha?!" Agad nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng bigla niya akong kinwelyuhan."I'm in the middle of reciting and then you're just going to interrupt?! Are you nuts?! Leave now before I'll punch your disgusting face." She let me go and gave me a deadly look.

Okay.. Galit nga siya.

"Chill, Zeriel. I'm just going to ask you something to confirm my thoughts. Wanna have a lunch with me?" I raised my eyebrow at her and she did the same.

"Why would I? Hindi ako sumasama sa mga ordinaryong taong katulad mo. I'm popular and I don't socialize with people who could ruin my reputation. Umalis ka na, hindi mo ako mapapapayag," saad niya pa at pinagkrus ang mga braso niya.

My brows frowned after hearing those words from her."What?! Para sabibin ko sa'yo, mas sikat pa ako sa'yo. Many people knows me whether it's inside or outside the country. At saka, mag-uusap lang naman tayo ah."

"Excuse me, walang TAYO 'no. Ugh, fine. Mag-uusap lang ikaw at ako mamaya. But for now, let me finish my recitation. Shoo!" She gestured me to go away like I was an animal that she doesn't like.

Wala akong nagawa kundi maghintay na lang sa baba ng building nila dahil last subject na naman daw nila 'yon bago ang lunch break. I've been waiting for almost 20 mins. but still, she's not yet here. Ilang minuto pa naman bago magring ang bell kaya hihintayin ko nalang. Haist.

If it's not because of what Rynier told me, I wouldn't think some possible things on her. Pero ico-confirm ko lang din naman at kapag hindi siya edi wala. Besides, I could get the result later so there's no need to worry about it. Lintik lang talaga ang walang ganti sa gumawa no'n.

"Hey, Shael! Who are you waiting for? Can you have a lunch with me?"

Ganito ang problema ko kapag may nakipag-usap sa'kin na hindi ko naman kilala.

I gave her a small smile and scratched my head."I'm waiting for someone and we already made a deal. Sorry, I can't accompany you for now. Next time, can we?"

"Oh sure! Basta sabi mo 'yan ah, magda-date tayo. Or maybe more than a date, it's okay with me." She gave me a wink and clings on my arm.

Tinanggal ko naman ng dahan dahan ang kamay niya sa braso ko habang nakangiti parin."Ire-reto nalang kita sa kaibigan kong si Miko. Maybe he could do you a favor. I'm so busy for the upcoming days so I couldn't promise you. Sasabihan ko na lang siya."

"Ano? Are we going now?! Sinasayang mo ang oras ko!" Napaigtad naman kaming dalawa nang biglang magsalita sa Zeriel sa gilid namin.

The girl step aside to give her space. She was about to say something but she pursed her lips when Zeriel looked at her. Para naman siyang nanigas at hindi alam ang gagawin kaya agad siyang naglakad paalis, nagmamadali pa. Magsasalita sana ako ng bigla siyang humarap sa'kin at inirapan ako.

Just like.... what's with her?!

"Let's go to the cafe. Gusto ko tumambay do'n kaya do'n na lang din tayo." I didn't know what to say because everytime that I'm going to say something, she's always mad.

"Whatever. Walang tayo, itatak mo 'yan sa kokote mo!" She's walking faster but I tried my best to level her. Nakita ko pa sa peripheral view ko na seryoso ang mukha niya.
