The inside of the Cullen house had been restored to its original warmth and beauty it was like they had never even left in the first place. Addison Cullen sat on the couch waiting for Isabella to start the meeting she had quickly arranged, Addison hadn't talked much since the incident with Leah Clearwater despite how hard her family had tried to make her...

"You all know what Edward wants, and you know what I want but I won't force myself on you" Isabella had finally begun to address the family, "I think the only fair way to handle this is by vote". "You can't be serious" Edward scoffed interrupting the human.

Addison noticed the frustrated look in Isabella's eyes and chose to speak up for the girl knowing that she needed some encouragement, "this is her meeting Edward so stay quiet until it's your turn to speak" her voice was stern not giving him any room for argument and with a huff, he leaned back frustrated with the lack of power he had. "Thank you, Addison..." Bella cleared her throat continuing her speech "however this turns out, I'm not letting the Volturi hurt you... I'll go back to Italy alone".

"The hell you will, I'm not missing another fight, who says Addie gets to have all the fun" Emmett spoke clamping his hand on his sister's shoulder hoping for even the tiniest smile "oh yeah, nothing screams fun like getting strangled and tortured by the terror twins". Isabella shivered remembering the screams coming from the eldest twin as she convulsed in pain on the floor "that's not up for a vote Emmett, I don't want you involved... any more than you have been".

"I want you to seriously think about this, if I join you you'll be stuck with me for a long time...forever. It's a huge decision and I want- uh I need your honesty here".

"Then let's take a vote...Alice?" Alice jumped off the couch moving to hug the human "like you're not already my sister, of course, yes!" Jasper was the next to rise still keeping his distance "I vote yes...it'll be a relief not to want to kill you". Isabella smiled unsure how to respond before choosing to just move on "okay... um Addison" the eldest twin stared at the ground making Bella furrow her eyebrows "Addison?" she repeated but still no response "Addi-", "she's thinking just... give her a moment, she does this when she's having trouble making a tough decision" Alice spoke.

"I- don't know..." Addison finally spoke "I- I mean there's no win-win solution here... if we all agree to turn you then there's your chance at a normal life gone, no kids, no sunlight without sparkling, just reliving high school over and over again and watching your loved ones grow old and die while you stay the same age". Addison sighed waving her hand at Edward with an annoyed motion "but if we don't turn you then we lose Edward because he's chosen not to live without you, and then there's the stupid Volturi who pretty much demand that we turn you as soon as possible... there's literally zero winning here"...

"So what are you saying, Addison?" Isabella asked making the eldest twin sigh with shrug "I'm saying I don't know, let's go with maybe" Bella nodded "thank you, Addison... um, Rosalie?"

Rosalie looked at Edward who was still stony towards her for what she had done making her sigh, "Edward I'm sorry for what I did... I really am and I know you're not ready to forgive me..." she turned to face Bella continuing to give her opinion on the matter. "But this isn't the life I'd have chosen for myself, I wish there'd been someone to vote no for me... so... no".

Rosalie was the only one so far to have voted no other than Addison who's answer was a maybe but Emmett and Esme both voted yes and the only one left was Carlisle.

Carlisle moved but he didn't move towards Isabella instead he chose to move towards Edward with a fatherly glare that screamed disappointment... "You can't go along with this Carlisle, you know what it means"... Addison could tell the Carlisle had reached the very end of his rope, he was their father and would do anything and everything to protect them but Edward had made it difficult for him and now he had no other choice. "Like Addison said you've chosen not to live without her which leaves me no choice I won't lose my son"...

"But Alice has never turned anyone, it'd be safer if I did it-"

Addison flinched when the front door suddenly slammed shut and Edward was gone... "Well that went well" she mumbled as Bella addressed the family one last time, "thank you, thank you all"...

A/n~ And New Moon is done... I know a lot of you were expecting Addison to have a full-on breakdown with Edward but that's not coming yet so have patience. I am literally so excited for Eclipse and all the Jasper moments along with some Alice and Leah moments!! Also not related at all to the story or Addison but... this author turned SIXTEEN today!! (Well technically yesterday because fuckin Wattpad wouldn't let me post this last night)
