Heartbreak Chae

"Unnie...She broke up with me..."

Chaeyoung was at my door. 2 in the morning. A duffle bag was sling behind her back. Eyes red and swollen from crying for hours.

Despite how seeing her so happy with somebody else these few months broke my heart to pieces. Seeing Chaeyoung sad doubles up the pain.

Suzy.

The one I lose Chaeyoung too. How dare that girl break my chipmunk like this. No one can stop me when I see that girl again. And to think that she was being all sweet asking permission to date Chaengie from me. Saying that I'm like Chaeyoung's guardian.

"Jisoo. You know I will take good care of her right. Trust me."

F..k her. Oh how wrong was me to trust that girl.

Chaeyoung is currently crying on my shoulder. Well to be precised. I'm laying on the bed and Chae's face is squashed on my chest. Crying her heart out. I think it was hours till the younger girl finally calms down.

"She said she loves someone else. She promised we would love each other forever unnie. I thought I have found the one...Waeeee..."

I could only listen. I am mad as hell. but right now my chipmunk needs me here. I runs my hand through her soft hair. Brushing few strands on her forehead trying to gauge her eyes to look into mine.

When chaeyoung finally looks up I said.

"I'm not saying tomorrow you will be fine Chaengie. Heart takes time to heal and maybe you just takes everything slow okay. Remember that I will always be there if you need me."

"Promised unnie."

"Of course Chae. You can always trust me."

I feel her breathing started to calm down and finally she succumbs to sleep. Don't you dare come back Suzy. No one can stop what I want to do to you if you ever come near her. I love this girl too much. If only you knows Chaengie.

They were tangle up with each other. Half of Chaeyoung is sprawled on top of me. The weight doesn't bother me at all. I found it cute that Chae could fall asleep peacefully on me.

I decided to just indulge in the younger girl's presence for now. Indulging what I have been missing for a while.

The mood was interupted with a call from Chaeyoung's phone.

Suzy.

The name was glaring at me.

"Oh no you did not just call the girl a day after breaking everything off." I thought to myself.

I almost pick up the phone to yell at Suzy when Chae suddenly woke up.

"Ughhh....Who is it?" She mumbles half asleep.

She grab her phone. Seeing the name quickly throw it to the other end of the room. I could hear a cracking sound. I guess we need to buy a new one.

Chaeyoung snuggle close to the juncture between my neck. Slowly breathing in and out as if she was calming herself down.

"You sleep okay Chae?" I asked

"Mmmhmm...I miss sleeping with you unnie. You are so warm."

Better than her? I thought in my head.

"Yeah....You have been busy lately."

"I'm all yours now unnie."

Chae said smiling widely.

I sigh

"I just hope its forever."

"What do you mean unnie?"

"Nothing Chae."

"Waeee...I wanna know."

"Ask me again when your heart is in a better place okay."

"What...But why?"

"Just trust me on this."

I give a small smile then kiss her softly on her forehead.

We just lay there for hours. Soaking in the morning sun while chatting like old time.

Like when she was still single.
