Satoko tried to speak, but nothing came out. Aizawa kept his focus on her for not activating her quirk.
"I wonder what your blood is like, teacher." Toga lunged her knife towards Aizawa.
Aizawa swiftly moved to the side. His capture weapon went towards Toga, but Twice stood in the way. "Nice try! We all got each other's backs here!"
Aizawa tightened his hold on Twice, causing him to squirm a little. "Nice to hear that you actually care about someone other than yourselves."
If only they cared for the heroes in training as much as they cared about their own people.
..
It was late at night. All of the other students had gone to bed already. It took a lot of convincing for Momo to leave Shoto's side, but she eventually did.
Aizawa on the other hand? He wouldn't leave the room. He wanted to make sure that Shoto made it through the night without complications. Burn injuries sometimes got worse within the few days of receiving them instead of better.
Aizawa knew that something wasn't right. Shoto was one of his strongest students and yet he hadn't moved at all in hours despite being awake. Aizawa could even hear that he was fighting for each breath.
Aizawa sighed. He gently placed his hand on Shoto's head. "What am I going to do with you bunch? Always getting into trouble and getting hurt."
"...Sorry." Shoto averted his eyes sadly.
"Don't be." Aizawa took his phone out of his pocket. "I'm going to call your father and let him know what's going on. Then I'll take you to the hospital."
As Aizawa started to pull up the numbers, Shoto asked him an unexpected question. "Am I dying?"
Aizawa took in a breath slowly. That was a difficult question to answer. "I don't know. But they will do their best to make you better."
Then he said something that he would soon come to regret.
"I promise to make sure no one else dies while you're away."
..
Aizawa's expression was full of anger and heartache. "One of the people in your group killed a student of mine while he was on his death bed. Nothing that you can say or do will ever be worth more than his life."
"If he was already on his death bed then why does it-"
A gunshot echoed through the air. Everyone paused what they were doing to see blood soak through the tape that was wrapped around Twice's body.
Aizawa turned to glare at the woman who landed beside him through the window. "We were instructed not to kill anyone."
The woman had pink and blue hair. There was a gun coming out of her arm. Her eyes seemed cold, but there was a hidden sadness in them. "Sorry, Eraserhead. There was a change of plans. I just got word from the commission to kill all of them. If we don't kill them now, they will be given the death penalty anyway."
"Jin!" Toga cried out. She felt a sheer anger. She wanted to transform into someone, but she didn't have blood to do so. Her eyes pierced in an insane manner to dash towards the woman.
"Suck, suck, suck!" She exclaimed crazily. Defending Toga's blow, Fatgum arrived at the scene. Her attack was deflected by his fat absorption. Her equipment couldn't even lay a scratch on his skin.
Back to Hawks, Satoko and Shigaraki. Hawks felt a bit hesitant after hearing about killing them. More so slaughtering Satoko.
(Takahashi would have to...die?) His movements started to slow down a bit while fighting off Shigaraki. He'd want to kill everyone else, but he felt like he can't take Satoko's life.
