Chapter 28

-Sam open please. Sam Carly who is ringing and knocking on the door.

But no one answers.

-Maybe she went to sleep? Says Melanie

-Most likely, though Melanie, you will sleep with me and we'll be back tomorrow. Carly proposes

-Ok. Melanie agrees

The next day, the girls go to get Sam to go to school together, but the door is still locked despite 8 am.

- Strange, she should wake up by now. Melanie says worried

-You don't know Sam, he's definitely still asleep. Carly calms her down

-Yeah, but we have to go now. Melanie replies

-Then let's go get the keys to Lubert. I suggest

-Well. Agrees, Melanie

The girls take the key from Lubert, go in and search for Sam.

-You see her somewhere? He asks Carly after checking all the rooms

- She's not here., where could she go? Melanie asks

-Maybe she did something to herself? She asks fearing Carly

-No, definitely not. Melanie calms her down.

-Let's get for Spencer, we have to find her. Says Carly

Melanie and Carly return to Carly's apartment.

-You are here. Ready Sam? Asks Spencer.

-She's not here. Melanie replies

-How is it not? Spencer asks, surprised

-The apartment was locked, so we took the key from Lubert and opened the door and she was gone. Explains Melanie

-If she just wouldn't hurt herself. Says Carly

-I know where it is. Says Spencer

-Where? The girls ask.

-At Freddie. Spencer replies

- It can't be anywhere else, but how did it get there? Melanie asks

-I don't know, but we have to pick her up because she's late for school. Spencer replies

Then Marissa comes in.

-Hello everyone, you know what's up with Freddie? I couldn't visit him yesterday. Marissa asks

-No, and we weren't there yesterday, just Sam went there. Spencer replies

-Ah, that's what her motorbike was for. Says Marissa

-She rode the Motorbike? Asks Spencer

-Yes, I was coming home yesterday and I saw her on a motorcycle. Marissa replies

-I didn't think about it, she's smart. Says Spencer

-You took the keys to the Volvo, she took the motorbike. Carly notes

-But when she left yesterday it was just after the rain, so it was slippery. Says Melanie

-True, or maybe she had an accident? Says Carly

-Call her. Asks Spencer

Carly calls Sam. Sam wakes up the phone and answers sleepy.

-Hi Carls what do you want? He asks Sam, picking up the phone and yawning

-Where are you? She asks Carly, worried

-At Freddie. Sam answers

-You went there on a motorbike? Asks Carly

-Yes, I had to see him. Sam answers

-Oh Sam, but you must be at school today. Says Carly

-But I don't want to, I have to be with him. Sam answers

-No Sam, you have to ... Carly starts

- I'm not going anywhere from here. Sam interrupts her and hangs up.

-Sam I don't want to go? Melanie asks

-No. Carly sadly replies

-Relax, I'll sort it out, call Director Franklin right away and explain everything, have him watch over my Freddie, I'll change her later." Says Marissa

-It be good. Carly agrees, and they're all going to school.

After school, everyone goes to the hospital.

-Hello Sam, how's Freddie? She asks Carly as she walks into Freddie's room.

-Nothing, the second day, the last one. Sam replies sadly

- Relax, Sam, he'll wake up, now come home and rest and I'll sit with him. Marissa calms her down

-I won't leave him, he wouldn't leave me. Sam disagrees

-But Sam, you're tired, go to sleep and you'll be back later. Asks Marissa

-No, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not leaving him. Sam is unconvinced

-Okay, stay, we'll be back tomorrow. Spencer said.

- Hold on. Spencer said, grabbing Freddie's hand

Sam stays with Freddie all night and the next evening Carly, Melanie, Spencer, Marissa but also Vito, Joe, John, Josh and all his friends come to visit him the next evening. When everyone was coming in and out of the room one by one, the Doctor came into the room and started doing research, he ordered everyone to go home because they were disturbing him and only the Icarly and Marissa gang remained. After 30 minutes, the doctor begins to wake Freddie up.

-Freddie can you hear me? Wake up. The doctor says it and says it over and over again, after trying many times,.

- And what about him? Sam asks him

- It's over, we can disconnect him. The Doctor replies sadly

-Why? Carly asked, surprised.

- He won't wake up anymore, only the respirator is supporting his vital functions, we have to disconnect him now. The doctor explains sadly

Everyone starts crying and Sam hugs Freddie and talks.

-Please Freddie, wake up, what will I do without you, if you die, I die and I would like to hear what you wanted to tell me, but I don't think it will happen anymore and this is the last chance I can tell you something. Freddie I love you. Sam talking and cuddling against Freddie's chest.

- I love you too, Sam. Freddie responds by waking up and hugging Sam. Everyone is shocked.

-You really woke up Freddie, is this a dream? Asks crying Sam looking at Freddie

- Sam I love you and this is not a dream. Freddie replies. Sam kisses Freddie and he kisses him back.

-But how, it's not possible. Says the surprised doctor.

- The Power of Love, she can move mountains. Marissa replies, crying with happiness.
