"I'm gonna miss you." She mumbled as she stuck her lower lip out into a small pout while looking up at Rook. He was about to leave for tour and even though she said she was gonna be okay, she secretly didn't want him to go.

"I'm gonna miss you too. Don't you cry on me." She already was but she tried to hide it. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a tight hug, wanting to hold on for as long as possible.

"Only a few months right?" She asked in a hopeful tone while drying her eyes on her sleeve. She pulled away just enough to look up at her best friend with a small smile.

"Maybe six at most. Then I will come right back here to see you."

"Do you promise?"

"I pinky promise." He held up his pinky with a bright grin, knowing she fully trusted pinky promises. She was quick to hook her pinky around his before her smile widened immensely.

"You can't break a pinky promise."

"I don't plan on it."

She was gonna miss him being around but she knew he wouldn't be fully gone. She knew she could still call, text, and facetime him whenever he wasn't busy.

Besides, she was going on tour herself in two weeks and she would be pretty distracted being with Dom.

"Hey, Rook. We gotta go! Wrap it up and come on." They heard Slim yell from the car window. Rook let out a deep sigh before he reaches up to place his hands on each side of her face.

"You be good. If anything goes wrong, call me immediately. Check in daily. I don't want to have to worry about you. I will call Dom for the truth if I absolutely have to."

She rolled her eyes to the heavens above, a deep groan leaving her lips. They kept telling her that she wasn't being babysitted but they sure made it sound like she was.

"Yes, dad. I will check in. I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. Just make sure you and my brother stay out of trouble this time. Last time you both got arrested for fighting someone in the crowd."

"That was one time! It won't happen again. Well, hopefully not. You know how your brother gets when he's agitated and then I have to step in."

Madison laughed at this, no longer sad about her brother and Rook leaving. She was happy for them both and knew she would be okay, especially with Dom around.

"Rook! You're gonna make us late."

"I'm fucking coming!" Rook shouted back.

"I love you, Mads. I will be back soon." He was quick to press a soft kiss to her forehead before turning to face Dom with a stern expression.

"You better take good care of her and keep her safe for us."

"I will. Don't worry. You guys have fun."

Rook stepped over to the car and climbed in next to Slim while Madison was quick to run up to her brother before he got into the drivers side.

She threw her arms around him and hugged him as tightly as she could. "You be careful and call me as soon as you get to your hotel. I love you, bubs."

"I will. I love you too, sis." He quickly hugged her back before pulling away and getting into the car. Once they drove away, Madison turned to face Dom, her lip stuck out into a small pout.

"Hey, it's gonna be fine. They will be back before you know it." He was trying to cheer her up and it was working.

"What did you tell Buzzfeed? I haven't read the article yet." Shit, she was hoping he had forgotten about it. She didn't really wanna tell him in fear of looking pathetic.

"I told the guy that you inspired most of my ep." She stated in a nervous tone, hoping he wouldn't find that creepy. He probably wouldn't but you never know.

"You wrote songs about me?" He seemed genuinely surprised, but who else would they be about? Definitely not Dean. He only got one song and it wasn't exactly a good one.

"I have to relisten to your ep now that I know it's about me." He was laughing, which she took as a good sign. Maybe he wouldn't find her creepy at all.
