The house of Auvillis had for generations produced outstanding individuals. As one of the imperial family's biggest supporter, and largest source of Devine power, their power was great and overwhelming. It was that power that in the end, was going to destroy them.
It was a summer day. The sky was blue as the ocean, and blossom had begun to spring. If you looked closer, you could even see a big cherry tree. However that's where the idyllic atmosphere abruptly stopped. Two people was standing under the cherry tree. A man, completely covered in blood, and a younger woman, with eyes that looked like color melted gold, who looked down at him. The man face was was unreadable, however if you knew where to look, you would see that he was fighting for his life.
The woman smiled slightly at the sight.
"I guess you did not see that coming, father."
