Me and Trevor foreheads touched our fingers interlocked. "5 minutes left we have to" he mows his forehead and gets up.
We rushed to the detention room we sit down minutes later mr.Moore came in. "Ok good you may leave now" we both get up and leave.
Me and Trevor walked home together not talking about what just happened a few minutes ago. We arrive at our house.
"Alright see you later Ki" I nodded "see you later" I went inside the house. I close the door my mother was watching tv "hey baby" I walk to the living room.
"Hey mother" I sit down on the couch "what took you so long?". She rubs her hand through my hair nodding her head.
"Detention" she gasp "detention?! Why?" I look at her. "A classmate asked me for a book caught me talking".
"You have to ignore people sometimes baby" I nodded "go change out of your uniform and go eat some Alfredo".
I get off the couch and goes to my room I change my clothes. Am I'm wrong for liking Owen and Trevor? I'm confused on what's I'm feeling towards people.
I go back downstairs entering the kitchen I get the pasta from out the pot. I sit next to her I begin to eat the pasta.
Her eyes stayed focus on the tv "I'm going on a date" my mom blurted out I look at her. "When?" She smiles "today" she nodded.
"That's why you cooked so early?" she nodded again "I can't wait I haven't dated for 5 years and finally I'm going on a date tonight".
I hugged her "congratulations go get ready now I help you". We went upstairs I go straight to her room while she does her hair.
I pull out a dress and her second favorite heels "I'm going to take a shower" she shouted from the bathroom. "Ok" I looked at the outfit "nah" I change the dress about 5 times.
I came across this green and brown dress "perfect" I place the dress on the bed. I go on my phone liking posts on TikTok.
My mom comes out the bathroom with a towel on her head and a robe. "There's your outfit right there" I point to the dress.
"Thanks for supporting me baby I love you so much I'm so glad your happy as I'm am" she hugs me I hug her back.
"No problem" I smiled as she let me go "now let me get dress" I leave out the room. I waited for her to come out the room.
She finally comes out the room with the dress and some brown heels "you look so good" she cheers. "Thanks baby" she smiled as she looked herself in the mirror.
"32 in a 19 year old body I hope this never goes away" I hug her. "Your beautiful either way" she smiles at me threw the mirror.
"He said he will be here by 7" I nodded "imma answer the door when he rings". "Ok I'm going to get my purse and I'll be down".
I go downstairs waiting by the door waiting for someone to ring the doorbell. The doorbell rings I open the door fast "hello" I smiled.
"Hey is this the Jones residents?" I nodded opening the door wider. He comes in my mother comes down the stairs.
"Wow you look so beautiful" he grabs her hand walking her the rest down the stairs. "Perry this is my daughter Kiara" he shakes my hand "Kiara this is Perry my date" I shake his hand.
"It's nice to meet you Perry" he nodded "same to you". "Ok I got to go here is some money for pizza" she passes me some money from her wallet.
"Bye baby" she kisses my forehead and then rush out the door I smile as he opens the door for her. I close the door and go upstairs.
I dug in my book bag and got the book I've been craving to read. I jumped on my bed open the book and begins to read.
18 minutes into reading suddenly the doorbell ring I groan and go downstairs. I open the door "hello Trevor" he walks in.
"Hey I saw that your mom left" I nodded "she went on a date". He nodded "I found a whole bunch of old stuff that was my fathers".
"So what your going to do with it?" I asked looking at him. Well sadly Trevor and Owen father died few years after Trevor was born he had cancer.
Victor has another father but recently is in jail he tried to kill Every after finding out she was pregnant. I know tragic what that family been through.
"I want to look at the pictures" he puts the box on the floor. I get on the floor in front of the box he sits down I open the box.
I pull out a picture of the 2 brothers and the father I smile at the picture. "This picture is cute you should get it frame" I look up at him.
His eyes was teary I go over to him I hug him he laid his head on my chest. "It's going to be ok" I rub my hands through his hair.
"I was only 3 I don't even remember the happy moments we spent together" he sniffs. "I didn't know what was going on he just fell out of nowhere".
He cries harder he lays on my lap on the floor my hands touched his face. "You will be fine I promise your father wouldn't want you to see that".
He don't say anything all I hear is sniffs I smile at him. "Let's take you somewhere more comfortable" he nodded getting up.
I take him to the couch he lays down I put the blanket over him. "Please don't ever leave me your the best person to ever come in my life".
He grabs my hand "I won't ever leave you Trevor" I kissed his temple.
