An unknown Call

Anirudh- Bondita, Bondita!

No response from her side.

Anirudh- Lagta hai Bondita so gai hai toh ab yeh Roshogullas mai hi kha leta hu. and fakes chwing sounds.

Bondita turns to him swiftly.

Bondita- Yeh aap kaise kar sakte hai Patibabu inn kolkata wale ek badam wale roshogulles par sirf mera haq hai ...laaiye dijiye mujhe.

Anirudh- han Bondita, inn par sirf tumhara haq hai and feeds her roshoogullas untill she stops him. Then they exchanged their forehead kisses and slept.

These usual routine has become their happy life and one day when Anirudh was out of station due to some work, Bondita too thought not to go for work that day... So Som and Batuk left said bye to her and left.

kaka- bahu, tum thik toh ho na ? agar kuch bhi lage toh kah dena hamse?

Bondita- Ji kaka sasurji mai thik hu, bas woh aaj patibabu nahi hai aur koi case bhi pending nahi hai toh socha aaj ghar par hi aaram kar lu.

Kaka- accha accha jao aram karo. koyli tumhare kamre me khana pahucha degi and patted his head with caress.

It was Aternoon.

Bondita is in study and reading "Story from Mahabharta, where Arjuna is narrating Subhadra how to break the chakravyuh in wars and she sleeps before listening the end how to come out from Chakrvyuh? " she feels great after reading the story that babies learn a lot in the womb itself so she decides to read more such inspiring stories and mold her baby just like her and her Patibabu and caresses her womb with lots of love. Bihari knocks on the door of study.

Bondita- aa jaiye bhari babu.

Bihari- Bahurani ji aapke liye khana laye hai ...aap kha lijiye.

Bondita- han bhari babu mai kha lungi thodi der me aur aap log bhi kha lijiyega.

Soon she is finished lunch and thought to have some rest but before she could rest her spine kalyani kaki entered her room.

Bondita- Are kaki aaiye na...Baithiye.

Kalyani- Bondita aaj Sondesh banaya tha, tumne kaha tha na ki tumhe bahut pasand hai toh mai le aayi.

Bondita (slurps her tounge on her lips )- Jaldi laiye kaki mai toh rok nnahi pa rahi khud ko.

she passed the box, patted her back and left.

She was about to finish the whole box but thought to keep some for Anirudh. It was nearly evening she read a lot of spiritual stories and already started missing her Patibabu. She kept her busy in other chores waited for him. He didn't showed up.

Dinner time:

koyli and bihari serving them food, but Anirudh's absence is making her restless. it can been seen on her face.

Kaka- Bondita bahu, Anirudh kuch kaam me rah gaya hoga. aa Jayega.

Som- han boudi, aap khana kha lo. mai call karta dada k colleagues ko aur pata karta hu aur btata kaha rah gaye dada.

Batuk- laiye boudi mai khila deta hu khana and he feeds her some morsels until she she starts eating herself.

(everyone smiled at her and after dinner she headed towards study and is waiting for him)

It was around 11 PM, she was drowsing while reading a book but a phone call broke her nap.

She picked the call.

Bondita- hello, han Patibabu bol rahe hai kabse aapka intzaar kar rahi hu?

The caller- How Sweet Mrs Bondita, mai bhi aapka pati banna chahta hu? pata hai, pata hai aap shaadishuda hai par mujhe farak nahi padta ..... toh kahiye aapka intzaar kab khatm karna hai.

Bondita- chee, aap kaisi baatein kar rahe hai aur agar patibabu aap hi mazak kar rahe hai toh yeh bilul accha mazak nahi hai.

The caller- Are Bondita, tumhare patidev mr. Anirudh ko unke bachpan ka pyaar mil gaya hai aur tum Q unka intzaar kar rahi ho so jao...

Bondita- Yeh kaisi baatein kar rahe hai aap....

The caller- waise bata du aapke pati aaj nahi aayenge ....aaj bahut baarish ho rahi hai na kahi pani ki kahi pyaar ki .... aap so jaiye unki chita mat kijiye.

Biondita- hello, hello aap kon bol rahe hai, aap jante hai aap ek barrister ko bewkoof nahi bana sakte ....hello

The other person has hung the call already. A tear fell down on her cheeks, she hover over her palm on her womb and said. "Don't worry, your baba is never gonna cheat on us, I believe him" as her room is upstairs, she slept on green couch, imagining her patibabu cuddling her.

The sunrays through glass windows fell on her glowing face making it more glorious. She woke up, her eyes are searching for Anirudh. For the first time she rushed in the hall without taking bath and asked to Bihari.

"Bhari babu, patibabu aaye kya?"

"Han bahurani ji woh bahut subah aaye hai aapke kamre me hai."

"Thik hai bhari babu mai jati hu aap naste ka dekh lijiye "

"Ji Bahurani Ji"

She went upstairs He was sleeping, she thought not to purturb him. And came out after taking the bath.
She woke him up and asked if he will join or needs some rest.

He kissed on her baby bump and asked to fetch his dress for the day.

She lovingly kept his uniform on the bed, kissed his forehead and exited the room.

He came down for breakfast, after breakfast, he let his Bondita drink Saffron Milk and all left for their workplaces.

Today, Before landing to the court they visited Batuk's School as Bondita urged in emergency.

Bondita and Anirudh parted their ways to their Cabin.

Anirudh was quite silent today. Bondita noticed him but understood might be due to lack of sleep. Bondita sat on her chair and started looking in to case files, where she found some photographs of Anirudh in particular shirt which he was wearing last night inside an envelope.

She couldn't believe her eyes. She put those pictures back in envelope and gulped her emotions for that second looking at her nearly 5 months baby bump.
