The Unexpected

Chapter 1: How it all Started

Noelle's backyard was set up with decorations and a photo wall to take pictures at. There were also speakers that were playing music. There was a couple of tables and chairs set up for people to sit and eat at. In the kitchen Noelle's parents made a bunch of food for the party. There was Pizza, wings, burgers, a chocolate fountain, etc.

As the night was approaching, more and more people arrived. The start of the party was boring as no one seemed to really be having any fun, that was until Mileena and Behati song came on.

Body by Megan Thee Stallion started playing and everyone started getting hyped up. Behati and Mileena started dancing and that made a lot of people join in. Everyone now seemed to be enjoying themselves as the party continued.

The girl's all decided to go talk in the kitchen to get away from the party for a minute. As they were talking, one of their close friends, Ayla, came in to say hello.

This is Ayla:

Behati is closest with Ayla out of all of the girls, so she mainly talked to her.
"Hey, you look really good tonight and congratulations to finally graduating", Ayla said. "Awe thank you, you look amazing yourself", Behati said flirtatiously.

Ayla is a year older than the girls and graduated before them. She met them when she was a sophomore and they were all freshman. They had PE together and clicked instantly. She's always been the closest to Behati as they seem to be flirting with eachother constantly.

3 hours later

As the party started to die down the guests all started to leave. Each of the girls said their goodbyes and told them thank you for coming to their party.

The girls were all sitting in Noelle's room talking.

"I cannot believe we're finally done with school", Stella said in disbelief.

"I know, I'm kind of sad to be honest. I'm going to miss seeing everyone", Aurora said.

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree. Even though people got on my damn nerves", Kehlani said.

Behati said, "Hey I have an idea. How about we make a time capsule and put all of our favorite memories in it and bury it, then in 10 years we come and dig it up?"

"That's a really good idea, but where would we bury it?", Mileena asked.

"How about we bury it near the Junior high where we all met? We can do it by the track", Noelle suggested.

"Yeah I think that's a good place to bury it cause the school itself holds memories", Stella said.

"Let's take pieces of paper and write down our deepest secrets, fears, where we want to be in the future, our goals, etc.", Mileena said.

Aurora's POV:
Where do I want to be in 10 years I ask myself. Well I've never really thought about my future honestly. I like to appreciate what I'm doing in the present moment and just kind if go with the flow. I know I want to be successful in my career and start a business. I hope I'm still friends with the girls and that I'm in a happy relationship with someone.

Stella's POV:
Thinking about how different my life could be from now in the next 10 years is terrifying. I really want to be doing something I love and maybe one day be rich. If I'm in a relationship I want it to be someone that I see myself marrying because what's the point of dating someone if you don't plan on marrying them. I hope I'm happy and loving life.

Mileena's POV:
I want to be living my best life. I think being a dancer of some sort would be really cool. I would like to be making lots of money and get my dream car. I like to take charge, so something I could do where I can take charge would be nice. Maybe have a girlfriend, but as of rn that's not my top priority.

Kehlani's POV:
I could care less what I'm doing as long as I'm doing something fun with my life. The only thing I really care about is still being friends with these girls. I just want to be having fun and living one day at a time. If everything goes wrong I'll just stick to fast food lmao.

Behati's POV:
In 10 years I would like to be working at some type of club or bar. I want to work as a Bartender cause most of my family has worked in a similar line of work. If I can't do that, then maybe a doctor. I see myself having a successful future.

Noelle's POV:
In the future I hope that I can find someone who understands me and maybe I can start to settle down. I want to still be having fun and throwing parties not caring about the consequences. I hope that I don't end up changing myself a lot.

45 minutes later

"Okay is everyone done writing what they wanted to say?", Stella asked.

"Yes", the girls said in unison.

"It was lowkey hard to think of stuff that I wanted to write", Kehlani said.

"Yeah, like I realised I really have no idea what I want to do", Behati said.

"Well let's put the letters into this box and then we can leave to bury it", said Noelle

They all put their letters in the box and put it in a plastic bag. After they got the box ready, the girls went into their cars and drove to their junior high. Once they all got there they walked over to the track.

"Well here we are. Noelle did you bring the shovel?", Mileena asked.

"Yeah I got it."

"Okay, Aurora would you like to do the honors?", Stella asked. "Oh, yeah sure."

Aurora dug the small hole behind the track for the box. After she was finished digging, Kehlani placed the box into the hole and Aurora covered it back up.

"Can we all promise eachother that even if we're for some reason not friends in ten years, that we still all come back here?", Stella said.

"Yeah I promise, even when I hate you guys I'll still come", Kehlani said sarcastically.

So, the girls all said their goodbyes to one another as they walked to their cars. One by one they drove off to their homes and went to sleep. Little did they all know, their life was just getting started...

I really hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of this. Please bare with me as I learn more about writing as I continue this story lol. This idea came up as a joke I made with my friends and then we decided to write about it. So shoutout to them for making the idea up.
