On October 10th the day of the kyuubi attack (I am sure you guys know what happened)they were two children who were on a bed,one was name naruto the son of minato and kushina and the other was hinata the daughter of hiashi and hitome.They told minato and kushina to take care of her during the kyuubi attack cause they knew they were gonna die.so when minato was about to the reaper death seal,the kyuubi tried to attack naruto not wanting to be sealed so minato and kushina had to stop it,because of that minato was unable to do the reaper death seal, then minato had to seal half in naruto and hinata. With there last amount of chakra minato did it and seal some of his and kushina chakra in naruto and hinata in case of future problem,after that hiruzen saw what happened and minato said with his last breath make sure the village see them as hero's.
