Is this an update I see? WOOHOOOOO, FINALLY. Sorry it took so long and sorry if it sucks. Haven't written anything in the past months, but i really hope you like it ^^

I started to wonder if following the animal was a good choice. I walked behind the strange dog, leading me deeper in the darkness of the woods. I sighed again and again, each one much more deeper than the last.

The dog must’ve been irritated from my actions for when I prepare myself to sigh one more time, it snapped it’s head at me and let out a bark before continuing his way through the trees. I gaped before going after him.

My head snapped to every direction, my mind starting to doubt. ‘Where exactly is this guy taking me?’ I eyed it’s fur. The black portion on his body seemed to blend in with the shadows, making him somewhat terrifying with a crimson glow.

It stopped and I did too. In front of me was a worn down house. The windows were broken and the door opened, letting out a screech, as if it awaited my arrival all along. I glanced at the dog and gave him a confused look. “Well,” I started, shrugging my shoulders “You first.”

It went inside and disappeared into the building. I followed suite, after thinking hard whether or not should I go in. But what choice did I have? I was left out in the open; I was lost with no shelter and no food.

Whoever this owner was, I hope it didn’t mind me stumbling into his home.  And maybe sleeping inside or cooking some of his food. The dog positioned itself in front of the tv, yawning as he laid there with a smile on his face. Literally.

I took it as my time to survey the house. It didn’t have any upper floors and the place looked like it needed some serious cleaning. Dust gathered everywhere and cobwebs were found at the corner of the ceiling.

I went inside the kitchen and plates with food on them were scattered on the sink. I turned on the faucet and the water greeted my hand with coldness. I smiled unknowingly, liking the feeling of the liquid washing away the dirt from my adventure.

I turned it off and went to check the fridge, because food was always a priority.  I opened it was greeted by nothing. I frowned. ‘It’s empty’  Closing it, I ventured around the house once more. There were only three doors. One was locked, the other was the bathroom and the last one was the bedroom.

I entered the bedroom and switched on the lights, the feel of guilt crawling at the back my mind. I silently prayed, hoping that the owner seriously didn’t mind me rummaging inside his stuffs.

”Bah, who am I kidding, of course he will. Anyone would.” I mumbled, going to the closet. “Who wouldn’t, I mean, seriously. ”

Shaking my head, my gazed went to the clothes inside the cabinet. “But one night couldn’t hurt, right?” I breathed out and snatched a plain black t-shirt inside and a pair of grey pajamas. I laid them neatly at the bed before taking a towel and went to the bathroom.

My own eyes stared back at me. God, I look like a wreck. My hair was sticking in every direction as my face had small cuts on them. I was sweaty and gross. I took no time and hopped into the shower, humming a song my mom used to sing to me.

Stuck inside the shower as I let the water just flow on me, I couldn’t help but think about the changes when I first arrived. ‘Is my father looking for me?’ Faces of my dad and the other people in the mansion flashed through my mind.

Ben and Sally. Masky and Hoodie. Jeff and Eyeless Jack. What are they all doing right now? Well, I bet Jeff would probably be muttering curses as he always do. Maybe along the lines, “Fucking Serenity, where the fuck are you so I could kill you.”
